“I got stuck in an FAA ground stop in Seattle. I was rebooked on a flight that was supposed to land in Oakland at 9 pm, then delayed to 11, then to 2 am. I called the hotel and explained, promising to be there ASAP.
I landed at 4 am and went straight to the hotel, where a man behind the desk informed me my reservation was cancelled. I tried to explain but was interrupted and given a lecture about being on time. I asked if I could still get a room, I had been traveling 23 hours. He said yes but...

“Had an ant problem in the bathroom, woke up to ants all over towels on the floor.
Breakfast was terrible, 3 days there was fake meat (plant based) and no alternative. Other days was turkey sausage.
Area of hotel was ideal for us
Other than those 2 issues it was fine.”

“The room was small but clean. The parking lot was small as well, had to park a ways from the main entrance. We only had 2 towels in the room though we reserved for 4 people. We didn’t get to have breakfast as our flight out the next morning was early and breakfast was not served until 6am.”

“Property was clean and felt homey - blankets were soft. Wish they had make the menus available for order. There was just a menu with a QR code to show what was available but not how to order room services. so that was unclear. Phones did not work, and there was no slipper. “I got a room and didn't stay in it, even though it was 1 am when my flight got in. It was very run down. There were people sleeping in their cars in the parking lot, police trying to get into rooms to talk to people.
