“We stayed for 5 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Sally and Paul were perfect hosts, friendly and chatty. The room was clean and well equipped. The location was great, not too far from the centre or the attractions but nice and quiet. Only had breakfast once but it was delicious. Everything was clean and we had all we needed. Definitely will be booking again when we can ”

“I needed a one night stay before my flight. Although not an ensuite i had a bathroom along the corridor to myself. Host was very friendly and informative, helped with all my airport access questions. Excellent value for money, and only an 8 minute flat walk away from the airport. Yes some bits are a bit tired, but for the price paid excellent value for money. Would definitely stay there again when flying from Newcastle Airport. ”

“Stayed for 1 night in the stables as a single female. The accommodation is an add on to the pub Royal Oak next door. The room was clean and a good size, what was really impressive was the facilities- a microwave with plates/cutlery, toaster, washing up equipment, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and a fridge. There was a child’s play area across the road. Horses in the next field lovely area. Went to the pub for tea. Staff gave a warm welcoming, food was lovely and very reasonably priced. I...
