Summary:
The Silver Reef #2 is a new immaculate, luxuriously furnished two-bedroom, two-bathroom, 2-story corner condo on the 2nd floor and 3rd floors of the brand-new Silver Reef Residences.
Situated on the shores of Grand Cayman’s Northeast Coast, this beautiful condo offers a luxurious and well-designed development with a range of amenities and is known for its picturesque and palm-lined coastline.

The Space:
Elegantly Appointed Interior:
Discover two spacious bedrooms, including a master bedroom with a king-size bed and a private en-suite featuring a full bath. The second guest bedroom is thoughtfully furnished with two twin beds and a full bath, both adorned with Grohe and Kohler fixtures.

Fully Equipped Living:
The condo presents a fully equipped kitchen, complete with European-style cabinetry, quartz counters, and contemporary stainless-steel appliances. Guests can indulge in self-prepared meals throughout their stay. The living room combines a cozy lounge and dining area for evening entertainment, offering breathtaking views of the North East Coast, beaches, and the Caribbean Sea.

Exceptional Property Features:
Step onto an expansive 1,100 sq. ft. oversized rooftop terrace on the third floor for your own private use, boasting panoramic views. Equipped with a BBQ, dining table, lounges, chairs, and umbrellas, this space invites you to fully embrace its charm.

- Residents have direct beach access to relish the coastal surroundings.
- Immerse yourself in relaxation with a 40’ heated saltwater pool and spacious sundeck with cabanas. (This is shared with other Silver Reef guests). 
Note: The pool fencing shown is temporary.  A permanent fence will be installed shortly, as the Cayman Govt. changed laws that require pools to be fenced in.  The new fence will be built to incorporate the seating inside the fence.
- Find tranquillity on the yoga platform or explore underwater adventures. Aqua boots are recommended.

Please note: Recent storms have covered the beach, as shown in the photos, with rocks, and there is no path out to snorkel.  Guests are able to access great beach areas a short distance down the beach or enter around Sea Lodges, On the Bay, Northern Lights or go up to Rum Point, or back East to Morritt’s.

Essential Starter Pack Included:
Kitchen Essentials: Dishwashing liquid and/or dishwasher tabs, basic pantry items such as salt, pepper and coffee filters to get you started.
Home Essentials Include: Comprehensive starter pack including shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, laundry detergent, a blow dryer, and an iron with a board. Towels, linens and beach towels are also provided.

Convenient Accessibility:
Silver Reef #2 offers proximity to popular destinations like Rum Point and East End, providing an array of amenities and attractions.
Conveniently located near Frank Sound Road, the main artery connecting Grand Cayman's North and South shores, it ensures easy access to George Town and the Seven Mile Corridor, making it a central and well-connected haven for residents.

There are a variety of excellent dining options in the area, including Over the Edge and The Tree House Restaurant at Crystal Caves.
In East End, 10 minutes away are  Eagle Ray's Bar & Grill, La Casita, Tides, Tukka East, Blue Rock, Captain Herman's Fish Fry, David's Deep Blue Restaurant and the Italian Kitchen.

Travel Options:
We do recommend a rental car/jeep/SUV for your stay at Silver Reef.
Car Rental: Guests can opt for a rental car, through Andy’s Kayak or Marshalls
Bus Service: Catch a ride on the Cayman Islands Bus Service that comes along frequently offering convenient on/off bus stops all along around the island.

Supermarket and Sunday Closures:
Silver Reef Residences is conveniently located just 1.5 miles from Chisholm’s Grocery—a beloved local store offering essentials and beach gear—while Foster’s Express in East End is about 7 miles away for a wider selection, and the larger Foster’s Savannah is roughly 20 miles southwest for full supermarket offerings.

Note that - supermarkets are closed on Sundays, but most restaurants and gas stations are open. However, this can be pre-ordered and delivered before arrival. Certain gas stations also sell liquor on Sundays.

Great condo

We enjoyed our month at Silver Reef 2. It is a great condo and a great location. We have stayed at both 7 mile beach area and the east end and much prefer the quiet east end/northside of the island. The condo is in excellent condition and is well equipped. The beds are comfy and the kitchen has nice cookware and dishes (could use some large plastic tumblers to take upstairs) The only downside is that the salt air has corroded the outdoor kitchen and some of the outdoor furniture. We got rust stains on several clothing items. It is a shame, but not much you can do with the salt air. The pool area is lovely and the people we met were all friendly. The property managers were great to work with and very communicative. We plan to return to Silver Reef.

Quiet side of Cayman

We really enjoyed this condo and getting away from the crowds at Cayman. New construction and everything in the unit was as advertised except we could not find snorkel gear and the property manager was unable to resolve that concern after a couple of communication attempts. The small exercise room is also still under construction, so not available during our stay. Rental car is a 100% must. Major grocery shops and most excursions are closer to the airport; 30-40 minutes away. On the east end (north side) we enjoyed meals at the Wyndam resort (10 min) (you can rent snorkel gear but not their chairs), Rum Point (12 min) (chairs are free, but you can't take your own food/drink), and Over the Edge (3 min). This is a private beach, but not ideal for swimming as it's rocky and there are numerous sea urchins nestled in the rocks. If you have a kayak or protective footwear you could venture out, but it's not really a swimming/wading beach like 7 mile beach where the resorts are. It also wasn't obvious to us prior to arrival, but each building has two units. The ground floor is one, and then this rental is the second floor and the rooftop area. No complaints, except that all the living space is really on a single level. We used the rooftop space extensively! The unit was nicely furnished, including several consumables we often have to purchase for vacation rentals: laundry/dish soap, paper products, etc.
