âWe have stayed at White Horse Farm Inn before and have enjoyed our time there. It doesn't pretend to be anything other than a lovely village inn.
It is a typical village pub of it's age and time. It has the most spectacular scenery as it's stands on a plateau up the hill on the road leading to Rosedale Chimneys. Absolutely beautiful!
Our room was the very large family one so we had plenty of space.
The staff were fantastic. Friendly Yorkshire folk, nothing was too much trouble.

âWe have just arrived back home from the most amazing stay at St Hilda's. We stayed in the Cairo room and the pictures do not do it justice it was just beautiful, the attention to detail is amazing. The bed was extremly comfy, we had such a lovely restful nights sleep. The room was absolutely spotless as well and has a really detailed information booklet with places to eat and drink, taxis and takeaways in it which was really handy. âLovely hotel, situated in a lovely village with views of Whitby abbey from our window, recently renovated. Bedroom was nice and clean as was bathroom, 2 pillows were provided one hardish the other soft but flatter, could have done with something in between. Evening meal and breakfast were good, well cooked and hot.
Was in a lovely quiet area so very quiet on a night. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Could do with a shower holder in the shower so not bobbing up and down to get things...

Our room was on the top floor, a comfortable and decent size room and large bathroom, it also had sea views across the harbour
Our visit was for a birthday celebration, we were given a card and a bottle of Prosecco in our room which was a nice touch and much appreciated.
We would definitely recommend it as a place to stay in Staithes, a good base for visiting the surrounding...
