“This is an outstanding historical property, gorgeous inside and out. Our hosts are friendly, accomodating, and highly talented in the kitchen. The room was spotless, private, and very comfortable. The yard was spectacular, with a fountain, sculptures, and large lawn even including a visiting young family of deer. Great view of the ocean from the front porch.”

“We had a whole cottage with a spa bath and a separate bedroom to ourselves. The bed was comfortable! Besides a few splatters on the wall in the kitchenette area and the bathroom, this place was CLEAN. We loved sitting on the "porch" (had two chairs and a small table) and take in the environment with the beautiful flower beds. Breakfast was lovely (real mugs!) with two exceptions. The hot water for e.g. tea had slight taste of coffee, i.e. the thermoses for hot water only and coffee were not kept...

The house itself is spectacular. The enormous porch overlooking the bay was one of the most beautiful and relaxing setting I’ve ever experienced. We hope to be back soon. ”

After a day of exploring, it was great to come back to the cabin where it is very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The host is very responsive, quick to answer any questions or address any needs. We would definitely stay there again.! ”

“Our cabin was in a great location. We went to Acadia National Park and Moosehead Lake. The cabin was clean and the host replies back quickly. I would definitely recommend this cabin and we will stay here on our next visit to Maine. ”
