“I would not recommend staying here. This was my first time in Rochester, visiting for the night from Canada. The staff were the best part of the place and then it was all downhill. I was with a group, we booked 5 rooms and every one of those rooms reeked of smoke despite being non-smoking rooms. We had to keep the doors open for at least 45 minutes while we cleaned the space and even then the smell lingered. The carpets in each room were disgusting I would not recommend taking your shoes off....
“The hotel was clean, had a very good breakfast, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. However....both my husband and I found the bed to be very uncomfortable. Our backs were very sore in the morning. Also, the parking lot was being resurfaced and was totally blocked off, leaving very few spots to park. The exits were blocked completely at one point. We had to get out of the car to move cones to get out. I KNOW it's necessary maintenance, but better planning would have helped.”
