“Booked thru the Expedia site using debit MasterCard because I don't have a credit card. Upon checking in I was told that a credit card was MANDATORY for checking in. The manager did not have a way to bypass it(or she wouldn't) so I have to go back and get a card from my mother in law just to check in. It was not clearly mentioned during the process of reserving the room on Expedia site. It caused a headache and almost $80 in cab fare to get the cc. If it's required, it needs to be mentioned...

“Very pleasant stay at Best Western Plus in Dryden. There is a small heated pool and hot tub that were very appreciated after a long day of driving. A complimentary breakfast was included but there was no breakfast nook to sit down in - food items were sourced from the refrigerator behind the front desk. This was the most expensive place we stayed at on our 6-day drive so we were disappointed that it wasn't a better breakfast experience. The hot tub however made the stay here worthwhile.”

“Our stay was enjoyable, this hotel is probably the most recently updated in Kenora as of the time of this review as the interiors of all the rooms including the lobby area were brand new and clean. The exterior appearance is a stark contrast though as I almost drove past thinking it was an older hotel. The breakfast is fine with fresh fruit, yogurt, waffles, and some hot options being offered. There is a restaurant right across the parking lot with good food and you could probably walk to...
