    Dating back to 1632, Catton Old Hall is a unique and historic home full of charm and original features. Tucked away in a quiet suburban setting just outside the vibrant city of Norwich, the property offers the perfect blend of peaceful surroundings and easy access to the city, coast and the beautiful Norfolk Broads.

    With on-site parking for up to 10 cars, a regular city bus route nearby, and electric scooter and bike hire available outside the property, Catton Old Hall is ideal for:

    The Main House
    Upon entering the property, guests are welcomed by a grand entrance hall and original wooden staircase, setting the tone for this historic home.

    Located to the left of the entrance hall, the spacious sitting room features:

    Three large sofas comfortably seating up to 10 guests

    A central island provides seating for up to eight guests, creating a sociable space for cooking and gathering.

    The impressive dining room enjoys 180-degree views across the garden and features two dining tables seating up to 20 guests, making it perfect for large group meals and celebrations.

    Connected to the main house, the annexe provides a private additional living space with its own kitchen, courtyard and garden access.

Family getaway

An amazing property which has everything you could possibly need for a large family gathering. We really enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back!

A lovely grade listed building with space for all thirteen of us. Large bedrooms all with end suite. Plenty of entertainment areas. Fabulous gardens and outdoor kitchen. Enjoyed the hot tub. Would love to stay again.

We could not have had a better experience. The property is stunning and had everything you could possibly need. The folks at Norfolk Holiday Rentals were so kind and responsive. Their guide to the home - which even featured suggested activities, restaurants, and rental companies for events - was so helpful. Our whole group had the best time - we couldn't recommend it more!
