There is a nightclub downstairs. It was very noisy and in an unsavoury part of town. The stairs to the rooms are steep and narrow.

Only good thing was it's distance from railstation...hotel was dated and very depressing and above a nightclub...rooms on floors 1 & 2 no lift...no breakfast available although supermarket opposite

Cheap and cheerful, so fine for one night in central Norwich at half the price of the Travelodge across the road. Room and bed were fine, though the double glazing needs updating and the bathroom needs upgrading and cleaning. Entrance is via a buzzer door on right of Nightclub below. Fortunately club wasn’t open midweek otherwise it would probably be very noisy. The outside street was very noisy and rowdy until about 1am. Overall it was very fair and affordable.

The room was comfortable and clean. Staff is very friendly. I havd been to this hotel many tines for its good value for money and the great location, the city center is within walking distance.

Check in was closed at 7 despite being open until 9. Their phone number was dead and no one answered the door. Only because a kind guest gave me some contact details I was able to check in. Lights flickered, the shower shot out the bottom and was a dribble and half the plug sockets didn't work. Other than that it was a fairly clean room with a comfy bed. Tea and coffee was appreciated but the check in kinda set the mood for the stay.

This is very basic accommodation, there’s nothing really wrong with it, but it’s up an awful lot of stairs, no lifts. It was clean enough, but very basic. No frills! It was very noisy from the club, very warm, could hear other guests, bed was not comfy at all, pillows were old and flat and stained. But it was a safe place to sleep.

It has reputation of being noisy, especially on Friday & Saturday nights when the nightclub below the hotel is in full swing. However, although it is noisy, I was given earplugs by the reception staff and I slept reasonably well. I was in room 5, to the rear of the hotel at the rear, and it was very quiet on the other nights.

The hotel is literally you get what you pay for. It is a clean ish space, in a safeish area near a bus stop and convienence store. The shower was terrible and the temperature varied greatly. The hot water did not come on sometimes. If you have a room on the top floor and you're tall you are likely to bump your head. There was a dirty towel that was at the back of the chair upon arrival and it was never picked up by cleaning staff. The staff however were really nice. They helped us bring down our suitcases and gave us a late check out for free. The toilet paper and biscuits were lovely. Would stay again because it was so cheap, but not in winter cause I can't risk the cold shower.

We only stayed one night and it was excellent value for money. It was a Friday night so the nightclub downstairs was open but the noise didn't bother us. Room was warm with a TV and also a well stocked tea and coffee tray. The bathroom was also clean.

returning customer, my go to place in Norwich, , excellent position, close to the train station, plenty of bars and eateries and a Tesco right opposite. The building is not new, the furniture might seem dated but very functional and no visible defects and had a very good sleep , very comfy bed and all linesn and bathroom and everything else very clean. I will be back

Room 10 run down and poorly maintained. Shower head and holder broken and 3 steep flight of stairs to get to the room. Poor insulation and despite being on the top floor, could hear all the noise from the road outside.

The good thing was that the shower worked it was also quiet ,which it probably would not be on a Feiday nor Wedneaday. Poor things were ,no lift, TV did not work and there was a lot of confusion or argument about the bill.

There has been some bad reviews about this hotel, but I had a nice stay, bed was clean and comfy, toilet and shower were OK. For the price I was not expecting much but I was pleasently surprised.
