The elevator was broken but the lady at the front who checked me in (checked in during the late evening) was amazing!!! She was kind, encouraging, and very sweet. It's not often you encounter someone in that line of business, or in life, for that matter, of that magnitude- a genuinely kind, understanding, and uplifting human being who shows the empathy and warmth indiscriminantly and without prejudice, even to strangers. She is exactly the kind of person who exemplifies what it means to be a "hospitality professional" and the brand, Extended Stay America, should go to every length to let her know that she is an extremely rare find, an invaluable asset. She is exactly what they should look for when recruiting and hiring. It's employees like her that create the type of brand image that is crucial to success and longevity.
