The location is great. Close to restaurants and direct beach access. The home needs a refresh. The floors were not well cleaned. Kitchen has everything. The half bath is a surprise, not really what would I would have expected, very small. Suitable for a couple with or without kids. No privacy for two couples. Would consider staying here again.

The icons on Vrbo list as 2 bathrooms and both with shower icons under both. There was only one shower for 5 adults. The condition of home was poor. Rusted door knobs, torn screens, filthy porch furniture (stained and dog hair), black mold around entire edge of tub, bathroom faucet rusted with holes. Vacation should feel like a treat. Our hearts sank as we entered the porch. First impression was terrible. There was large patches of dog hair on the legs of the bar stools and on edges of rugs. I took photos of several of these things I mentioned. Location was great. We made the best of our trip but were very disappointed with the house. Basic repairs would go a long way on making it feel more welcoming. Vintage does do not bother me… poor condition is another issue. We have always had wonderful experiences with VRBO and this my first bad experience. It looks much nicer on site and the bathroom icons are very misleading as well. That alone would have deterred me from choosing. We needed 2 showers. We were also given one wash cloth and towel per person only. We had to do laundry every single day just to get showers. The washer and dryer were so loud and took prolonged time to complete. We were often waiting on the washer/dryer and not able to leave and do the things we wanted to do out of fear of leaving them unattended . We would not come back and we would not use anything from that management company either as they have to be aware of these issues and have done nothing.

Spring Break Beach Vacation

Spent 5 nights at this lovely beach house. It was exactly as described. Kitchen was well-stocked with equipment, beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean. The only drawback was the cleanliness of the furniture on the screened-in porch. The cushions were so filthy and covered in pet hair, they couldn’t be used. I recommend replacing this furniture with couches and chairs that are not upholstered.

Not a good way to start a vacation!

It would of been nice to have another shower one was not enough for family of 6. The sofa was stained big time! The kitchen oven top was so dirty! We tried scrubing it to get it clean but it didnt work! You just don't want to cook on that! The view is very pretty and it's nice to be right on the beach but I would rather have a cleaner house! One more thing when we arrived our bedding was to be delivered by 6pm. We waited until 8 and then my son called the Linen company there was no answer! He left a message that we had no linens or towels! He also called the Coastal Vacation Resorts the host company, couldn't even leave a message because the voice mail inbox was full! After driving 17 hours we all wanted to take showers! My son and daughter-in-law found a walmart and bought 4 sets of sheets and some towels. What an inconvenient way to start a vacation!!!! We did get linens the next day around noon and finally got reimbursed for the linens after several days of being on the phone with the host company! I don't like to leave negative reviews but this place needs major updates!

She's an Old Girl

Lovely house but she has a little age on her. There were more household items than are listed. It looks like she could use a little upgrade. We didn't encounter any issues on the property. We are getting on up in age and the toilets are old school and close to the floor. At least one of the two toilets should be ADA compliant. All in all we had a great time and will look in to booking again.

Great beach house

Our family had the best vacation. The house was a perfect location on the beach. Very beachy inside. Loved the colors. Plenty of space for the 3 of us and our 3 dogs! Would love to stay there again.

Conch’d Out was awesome!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was just as presented, comfy, well equipped for people and our fur babies. Great deck and screened in front porch areas were favorites, for sure. Already looking forward to staying there again!

Excellent Place

Enjoyed the property. The only issue we had is the cost of stay increased after we booked and paid through VRBO. The property manager asked that we pay an additional $350.00 via calling them after we paid through VRBO.
