This is a small studio apartment just off Piedmont Ave in Oakland. I was staying there as a solo traveler, primarily for work. It has a parking space directly outside the door and is VERY walkable with dozens of good restaurants, a grocery store, and other stores in easy walking distance from the apartment. Inside, there is a single room with a bed, a kitchenette, and a desk. The apartment has lots of storage space both in the main room and in the bathroom. One of my big complaints about hotel and VRBO bathrooms is that they often don't have enough space to store things, but there was more than enough here. Also, it comes with a large washer and dryer, which were honestly way larger than I needed as a solo traveler. There was also a nice refrigerator, dishwasher, and a good array of plates, silverware, and cooking utensils. There is also a microwave and a toaster oven in a cabinet next to the kitchenette. There were a couple of issues, however. The apartment is right next to the local post office's truck lot, so there was often a lot of noise around 5:30 am as the trucks arrived. In addition, the place feels "damp," and the bare concrete flooring is very cold in the evenings. Finally, the desk, while big enough, has only a stool to sit on. This was very hard to use for long periods, and I found my back hurting after being on video calls or trying to work on my laptop. That said, if you can deal with those issues, it's a great place.
