Come and relax at this lakeside log cabin on pristine East Pond in Maine’s Belgrade Lakes. Enjoy the water, trails, local fun and call of the loons during the summer, the fall colors and crisp weather in autumn, and cross country and snowmobile trails in the winter.

This fully- furnished modern two bedroom cabin sleeps six with three floors connected by a spiral stairwell. Towels and linens provided. The main floor’s living and dining room looks out across the lawn to the lake with a deck for grilling and outdoor dining. The kitchen has modern appliances including a dishwasher and both drip and pod coffee makers. The water is well-supplied and potable. The main floor bathroom has a toilet, shower and houses the washer and dryer. The upstairs bedroom offers a stunning view of the lake with queen, single and trundle beds, half bath and walk in closet. The downstairs bedroom has a queen, work/desk space, a walk-in closet and direct access to the lakeside yard. The cabin operates on a septic system and has radiant heat in the floors and an AC/heat pump in the upstairs loft. Wifi is available, and the TVs on each level offer on-demand streaming services.

The cabin offers a private dock and swim raft, two kayaks and two SUPs along with life jackets (2 adult, 2 youth, 1 child)

Situated 15 minutes from I-95, the cabin is 30 minutes from Augusta, 20 minutes from downtown Waterville and Colby College, and just a few minutes from Camps Manitou, Matoka and Somerset. The is parking for 2 cars. Maximum number of guests: 6

We loved watching the colors and mist over the lake at sunrise and sunset. We had a lovely kayak paddle along the shore. The cabin was clean, attractive, and well-supplied. The staircase was a bit steep and ominous for senior citizens, but we managed. The lakeside experience was worth it!

We really enjoyed our stay on East Pond. The cabin was in the perfect location on the lake with beautiful views from inside the cabin and on the dock. We particularly loved the built in bench on the dock for our morning coffee. The cabin had all the amenities you could ask for from a great, well stocked kitchen to a washer and dryer and kayaks and paddle boards. A great stay at the Belgrade Lakes!

We had an amazing time at East Pond! The house was beautiful and very clean, with everything we needed for our stay. We used the kayaks and paddle boards and enjoyed lounging on the dock. The neighbors are very friendly and we felt so at home. It’s the perfect distance to Waterville and Belgrade lanes. We look forward to staying again soon!!

I can’t say enough about this lovely home located in Oakland ME. The owner’s have taken extra care to ensure anything and everything you may need during your stay is available. This waterfront home is lovely and provides just the right space for our group. Having direct access to the water and the use of the dock made our water activities easily accessible. Pluses include: A/C, washer/dryer and 1.5 bathrooms. We look forward to visiting again and thank you for allowing us to enjoy your lovely home!

Great location on the water

My family needed a place to stay while in town for a horse show. This location was perfect for our family of 5! Carrie was responsive with any inquires and the provided binder at the house was a great resource for us. Morning coffee on the dock was a welcome treat.

Spectacular getaway

We had the most wonderful weekend staying at the cabin. We were in town for Colby graduation, a short 15 minute drive away. An absolutely beautiful, clean cabin that slept 5 perfectly. I don’t know if the location can get any prettier. A beautiful spot on a pristine, quiet lake. We took full advantage of the new dock for fishing and the kayaks and SUPs for time on the lake. I will most definitely miss having my coffee staring out onto water. We will definitely be back!

Colby college reunion

The house was perfect for our long weekend visiting Colby college with our family of 4 (2 college kids, husband and myself). Very clean. Comfy beds. The dock was great and waking up to the view of the lake was spectacular. We did not get to use the paddle boards and kayaks- but that would have been great. Kitchen had everything and grill was right on deck. The spiral staircase was cool- (however could be an issue for those with mobility issues). WiFi worked well. Overall we had a great stay and would go back again.

Relaxing fishing trip

We had a blast. The house is great. Looked small from the outside, but the house has plenty of space and is well designed and laid out. The house is fully equipped with kitchen items, and there was a back up propane tank!! We didn't need it, but it just goes to show the host thought of everything.

Serene Waterfront Retreat - Perfect for Family Getaways

Our stay at this waterfront property was absolutely delightful.
