Swallow Falls Cabin 4 - a 3 Bedroom with Fireplace near Swallow Falls State Park

This charming retreat features three bedrooms and a full bath, making it perfect for families looking for a getaway. Enjoy cozy evenings by the fireplace or make the most of the covered porch, equipped with a gas grill and dining table for outside meals. Located just a short drive from the breathtaking Swallow Falls State Park and Herrington Manor State Park, this home seamlessly blends modern comfort with natural beauty. With a shared play area for kids and easy access to stunning waterfalls and scenic hiking trails, you'll find endless opportunities for adventure and relaxation. This home is not pet-friendly (undisclosed pet fee will be charged at 3x advertised pet fee) and does not have internet. Max. parking spaces: 2

IMPORTANT TO KNOW: Minimum Age to Rent is 25 years old. Check-In is between 4 pm – 9 pm. Check-Out is by 10 am. Smoking/Vaping, Parties, Exceeding Max Occupancy or Pet Limit are not allowed.

WHAT TO BRING: Supplies are not provided; plan to bring all paper products, food/spices, coffee filters, trash bags, detergents, soaps, toiletries, household items, supplies and extra towels, if necessary. (Bed Sheets, Bath Towels, and Dishes are provided for max occupancy.)

WINTER RESERVATIONS: A 4WD vehicle is required to access rentals between November through April. Private driveways will not be snow-plowed unless and until there is 5 inches of snow.

RESERVATION PROCESS: (1) At time of booking- Electronically Sign the Rental Agreement to trigger your door codes and Pre-Arrival Information to be automatically sent. Door Codes will NOT be released without an e-signed agreement. (2) One day prior to arrival- You will receive Pre-Arrival Information that contains your door lock code, address and other important info. [If you do not receive it by noon that day, check your spam folder. If you still don't see it please call us directly to ensure a smooth check-in].

Worst long weekend ever

The place was filthy, trash was pilled high in every trash can, dirty dishes in the sink, food crumbs all the over coffee table, glitter everywhere and worst of all rodent feces on every single bed!!

Awesome place!!

We loved our stay at cabin 4!! Overall everything was AMAZING! We did have lots of issues with NO WATER at times and water pressure very poor. In order for us to consider staying here again Water must be fixed especially for showers!

Great location, bigger than expected

This place was clean, very close to Swallow Falls and bigger than expected. Check-in and out was easy. There is a little play area for smaller kids and the back porch is really nice with a porch swing.

Great location with many amenities

We had a good experience booking this property through VRBO. Couple minor house repair issues noticed but nothing that affected our stay at all. Was great for the long weekend getaway we had with my family and friends.

No internet or cell service

When I booked this place I assumed there would be internet and cell service. This should be explicitly called out in the description as it is 2022 and most would consider this a basic necessity. This was our first time to the area and researching grocery stores or bars to go to as well as directions was extremely difficult with no WiFi or service (Verizon).

Very clean and close to State Parks

Very clean and well maintained property. Great furniture and well stocked with essentials. Only drawback is the cabin is located just off the main road. However, main access if from the rear. Rear yard backs to woods for wildlife viewing. You can easily walk to Swallow Falls State Park. I would definitely stay again.

Relaxing getaway

Loved everything about our property. Location to where we were wanting to be. Activities. The cabin itself was perfect and exactly what was described. My only criticism is all the fees and taxes. Maybe they could be explained a little more thoroughly and I felt a little excessive. Totally recommend and we plan on a return trip(s)!

Great mountain cabin

This was a great place for our family of 5 during our visit to Wisp for skiing. An easy drive to the slopes and a very comfortable home to cook dinners and relax at night in front of the fire!

The perfect getaway. Walking distance to swallow falls!

Clean! Beautiful! Peaceful! Nearby the beautiful falls to swim under, and to end the night with a beautiful fire pit for s’mores and family relaxing! Everything was perfect! The owner was bringing us a new trash can to sit on the beautiful patio. We stopped him for a nice little conversation about bears that have been seen. We so very much enjoyed our brief visit from the owner. It’s so relaxing and quiet!

Great place to relax!

We stayed in cabin 4 with our two teenage boys. The cabin was clean and well taken care of. We loved having campfires in the evening at the fire pit and drinking coffee on the front porch in the morning. Located close to Swallow Falls and great for hiking right from the cabin. Definitely would stay here again.

Beautiful cabin with all your needs

We had a beautiful stay in our cabin. The place was perfect for us two adults and our two children. There was enough space for all of us to enjoy the home living while being able to camp and enjoy the outdoors. This place is super close to the swallow falls, the Herrington manor state park, and deep creek. The cabin was very clean and stocked for all our needs. The only downfall is that it isn’t very secluded, it is close to the neighboring cabins and is close to a well traveled road. A major plus is the neighbors dog is a great little friendly present, he spent a lot of time visiting the girls. The property manager is a very sweet lady as well, we met her upon check in and she was tremendously friendly!
