One of the best locations in town, this apartment is situated in a traditional Victorian building right in the heart of Oban on the seafront esplanade.

High ceilings and large windows create a light and spacious feel. Enjoy sea views and watching the ferries and fishing boats in Oban Bay from this third floor apartment.

Step outside and breathe in the sea air, take an evening walk along the shoreline to watch the sunset, then dine on fresh, local seafood just a minute's walk from your door.
This centrally situated apartment was formerly home to the town's newspaper and offices, The Oban Times.

The Editor's Choice is full of charm and character within this historic building, and you will have access to the entire apartment during your stay. Perfect location for restaurants, cafes, bars and transport links including the ferry terminal, 5 minutes away. Famous seafood restaurant and local boat trips right on your doorstep!

LIVING ROOM: Enjoy sea views and watching the world go by from the bright and comfortable living space. Layout includes window seat with cosy sheepskin throw, brand new corner sofa bed, smart TV, modern dining table with bar style seating for 4 guests. The corner sofa in this room can be turned into a double bed.

KITCHEN: The kitchen is well equipped if you would like to cook during your stay. Enjoy some delicious Nespresso morning coffee from the espresso maker! Washing machine also provided with a separate clothes drier in the hall.

MASTER BEDROOM: This spacious bedroom features a king size sleigh bed with super comfy, luxurious mattress. High quality cherry wood furniture and period features such as high ceilings and decorative cornicing creates a classic feel to this room. USB sockets in this room for guest convenience. Enjoy sea views during the day from the large window and original wooden shutters make for a quiet night's sleep.

BATHROOM: Good sized family bathroom with bath and power shower over the bath. Floor to ceiling tiles keep everything clean and contemporary.

Loveliest Location in Oban

We loved everything about our stay on Oban. The location was central to everything, the apartment was beautifully equipped and comfortable, and the host gave easy to follow guidelines and instructions. Every VRBO should be like this! Thank you.

Cozy, comfy and clean

Unexpected comfort and spaciousness in this downtown Oban apartment. Much better than online description suggests. Well appointed and has everything you need, and more, for a stay in Oban. Thoroughly recommend!

Beautifully furnished and equipped

The apartment is spacious and nicely furnished and decorated. The kitchen was large and modern. Our host provided selections of coffee and tea. And evens container of milk in the fridge. The beds were comfortable. There are nice large windows. We wish we could stay longer than two nights. I should mention that there are 66 steps to climb which might be a concern for some.

Just right.

Clean and convenient to sites, ferry terminal, and restaurants. Good restaurants: Oban Chocolate Company, the Lorne Bar, and Piazza. The gem of the area is the Pierhouse in Port Appin. The cafe on the Isle of Lismore is pretty great too.

Lovely Apartment with Great View!

We loved our stay in Oban, a lovely apartment - with every convenience you need - honestly, there is usually some point in the stay where you think - I wish there was a ,,, - but not here, fully equipped! Only thing to bear in mind, the flat is on the top floor, so there are 70 steps to get to the apartment ,. but if you're OK with steps, you'll be rewarded with the flat. It was a bonus to find that the first curator of the museum, on the ground floor was someone we knew! Sadly passed away recently, but lots of pictures of him in the museum.
