Wonderful motel with a top notch staff. The pond out back was so beautiful, and our stay was so great . We loved it so much we stayed there again on our way back from Vermont to Myrtle Beach. They were able to help us out by booking directly with them. We were late getting in, but they took care of us by making sure everything was ready when we arrived. This was a solid 5 Stars!!!

It was cute, quiet, safe, and clean. The bed was uncomfortable, and the shower curtain blew in on you and let water out on the floor.

I liked the proximity to the bus shuttle for the festival we were in Ocean City for - walking distance. Room was clean, but the flowery scent of the room was almost overpowering. Valuable things were left out on the table and the housekeeper didn’t disrupt anything. We appreciated it. Overall a good stay!

Exceptional for old beach bums
Quaint place too stay. Very clean and just what we needed for overnight stay, a comfortable bed and sparkling clean bathroom. We are looking forword to hopefully an extended stay in the future.

Great weekend stay
Room was very clean and perfect for a solo weekend. Grounds were better than expected with chairs by the creek, lots of activities if with family. Front desk was extremely friendly. Even called me before my arrival to make sure I was coming. Cabins look great and will try those next time.

Everyone was very nice and accommodating. We received a free upgrade to a cabin because of BikeFest, which was nice. We enjoyed having our own cozy space with comfortable living areas and especially the screened in porch which we utilized everyday. The only drawback was the bathroom situation. We are older and the cramped bathroom was difficult. The bathroom was clean, but very small. We were only there 2 nights, so we could live with it for a short time, but a longer stay would have been frustrating because not only was it small, water pressure was lacking as well. The shower head barely put out enough water to rinse, so I wouldn't have been able to wash my hair. Overall, the grounds are kept nicely and it looks like a wonderful place for young adults and children with volleyball, swimming, etc.

The place was clean and comfortable. The only drawback was the floor above us squeak so much; we could hear people footsteps when they were moving around. The complimentary breakfast is not a breakfast at all. It was snacks and they did not have options for people that don't drink cow milk.

The Beach Bum Weat-O was a decent place to stay for a night or two. The room was fine, reasonably clean and modern. The only complaint is we could hear the people in the neighboring room. The pool was decent. The continents breakfast was not great but I didn’t expect much more. We needed to add a couple days to our vacation and it was totally fine for that. I wouldn’t have wanted to stay here much longer. The cabins looked cute but we’re in the motel part.

Nice stay, Simple but functional. Close to bdwlk
On a 2 week vacation up the East Coast this was our first stop. Aug 18, 2023. The Good: We stayed in a queen room in the main hotel. We were on the very end on the bottom floor. The room was clean, updated and very basic but functional. There was a larger shower stall with wall mounted product dispensers. There was a wall mounted hair dryer, towels & extra tp. There was also a mini-fridge & microwave and I can't fully recall if there was a coffee maker in the room. The AC in the room kept it quite comfortable and we slept relatively well. The bed wasn't home but I wasn't hurting and stiff in the morning so it must have been fine. We spent a while on the dock after arriving (8ish hr drive) then went to the boardwalk area. We walked around for a bit then grabbed a bite and went back to the hotel. THE JUST OK: The air conditioner was loud. It worked well and didn't give off any weird smells but every time it kicked on - it was enough to wake you up. This would have been an issue if we hadn't been so tired from a day of driving. The only other issue was that the "smoking area" is considered to be at the end of the buildings. Our room was the last room on the end of the building. So in the morning when we came out there were several smokers nearby. A better designated smoking area would be nice. OVERALL: Very satisfied and would stay again. Would def recommend a bigger room for more than 1 night though.

It would have been nice if you had picnic tables out by the rooms and better water pressure. But overall I would come there again. Ps have more shirts in the larger size’s later in the year , because what does not sell this year , they will sell next year.

Our room was newly renovated, including new bathroom. Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was generous and good. Friendly staff. The setting is beautiful and quiet yet you're 15 minutes from the Ocean City boardwalk. We will be back!

For the rustic/outdoors type
7 of 10. The staff was awesome. The open/outdoors space was awesome, including seating on a dock running along side a canal. Pool was dirty on top and bottom of water. I wouldn’t get in but other guests who did all commented it was dirty. Room was tiny, rustic with only boards attached to the walls serving as furniture. It was noisy as it sounded like someone was running around above me all night but I was on the top floor. Someone was slamming things around somewhere as my bed often shook. The bathroom was more modern. Nothing much in walking distance but plenty just a short drive away. Not bad but highly overrated.

We had such an amazing time at the Motel. The room was clean and spacious, with clean towels every day, the parking is right in front of it, we had a bonfire, we played volleyball, and used the laundry machine and pool. Besides is so close to everything. I would definitely recommend it!

Nice little hotel in great location in West Ocran City, and more reasonably priced than others in the area. The room was small, but clean, and perfectly adequate for what we needed. The hotel grounds, with picnic tables, fire pits, river view, and pool were a nice bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay very much, the manager even made accommodations for me, because I booked through Expedia with an age of 20. Apparently they only let people 21 and older stay. But she was nice enough to let me and my younger brother stay.

It looked like a newly renovated room, that they needed to put people in before it was finished. It served us ok as a place to sleep, & the pool was ok. There was a very strong bleach odor when we first arrived that really didn’t dissipate till the overnight.
