Highways robbery for a rundown filthy and very hot establishment..that uses curtains for bed toppers. And has a portable AC unit that is rigged through a piece of dry wall stuff in balcony door..in which won't close properly. There is no tread in bathtub so it gets slippery..the place is dirty..the pool is concrete on the inside and you get scuffed up easily. They pick which hours the arcade and pool are open and don't abide by the hours they state. Most of the staff don't speak English which is an issue. And housekeeping came in our room and went through our things. The parking garage is sketchy and very tight spots to get in and out . As well as tiles missing from the roof. The balcony is not private. The people who do check ins were friendly and that's the only good thing about this place. It's expensive..they don't offer any breakfast and you are on 81st Street far away from everything fun . U need a car to get around for sure as walking isn't an option it's busy with crazy drivers.

Staff was great. Hallways were so hot. Pool smelled like urine and was so cloudy and dirty. Gym was filthy. 86 degrees and nothing to clean equipment so it is all streaked with sweat. Hallway and pool bathrooms did not have soap, only dishwasher soap. Kitchens in Roma no longer supply papertowels, cutlery, etc

There was mold on ceiling in my room 4 th floor. Ocean view window had debris and bugs all over it. Shower curtain seemed old don’t think they ever change them or wash them. Bed was comfortable. Housekeeping woke me up both mornings I was there despite having do not disturb sign on door. No amenity in lobby didn’t see coffee or sitting area.

Location is great and staff is friendly. The air conditioning in the rooms are ice cold so that’s a plus but … it’s not very clean. The walls are very dirty and Bathrooms are full of rust. The beds are not comfortable at all. I think they’re very old and worn down. There definitely has not been any updates to this hotel in years.

We were happy overall. But the AC in the main parts of the hotel were out so we would walk out after a fresh shower and already feel like we out in the beach heat. AC in the room worked perfectly fine! Staff was amazing! With a little renovation it would be stellar!

The sheets were dirty. There was what looked like mold on the ceiling, the curtains had holes in them, the ac was ridiculously loud but worse the water sounded like it was running over my head all night.

There where a number if things that made the trip let's say "eventful" such as the a/c didn't work and were told they know about it and would try their best to fix it. Next, the sink handle would come off when you turned the water on, the bathtub would have standing water when you used it, the beds were so lumpy and horrible to sleep on, we had housekeeping come in but never vacuumed the floors, pool on the small side. Plus side woud be close to some things.

Hotel was not in good condition we got dirty sheets the vents were dirty everything was dirty. The staff was very nice and helpful tho.

The sheets and bedspreads were dirty, stained, and wrinkled. The table and sofa surfaces were also slightly sticky and dirty too, and the toilet paper had been used. The room was not clean at all, and there was a bad, unusual smell that made us feel uneasy. When we tried to report the issues to the reception, we found that the phone was not working either, and we had to go to the front desk ourselves and report the problems. Then, an hour later, we found that the toilet in the room was also clogged, and when we flushed, the water did not pass through and came up, and we had to go to the front desk again and report the problem. At first, the staff tried but failed to fix the problem. Finally, after a few hours of waiting, they temporarily opened it near midnight. Then, they gave us a hand pump that if it got clogged again, we could use it and unclog it ourselves after each use of the toilet! All of these circumstances led us to express our dissatisfaction and request a room change or refund for the remaining days. They said we did not have another room and that we should submit our request and demand for a refund through Expedia. After reporting the matter to Expedia's support department, they said that we would take action to refund your money, but they refused to refund our money for the remaining two nights.

This is good for vacay on a budget but do not expect much- check in was horrible, very busy and the staff was overwhelmed. I felt bad for one woman. The building is old- rusty bathrooms- dusty and loud air conditioner but it worked well! The pool was kind of dirty- had a lot of sand in in and oily water. And all our bath towels were stained. But the beds were comfy, the walk to the beach was super quick and the balcony was nice! I wouldn’t stay again , but if you need a place just to sleep while you are at the beach it’s ok!

Close to beach was the best thing. Hot water went out the last day and the air conditioning just runs constantly and never really cooled down the room.
