  • Our dream retirement home can be your dream vacation home! Have you ever imagined yourself in your own house with an open plan kitchen looking out onto your deck with your private pool? What if that house was literally above the water overlooking a bay where you could eat your breakfast while watching sea turtles or rays? Love the beach? Well it's only a short 10 to 15 min walk to one of the most beautiful and secluded beaches in all of Barbados. Sound like paradise? We think so, and until we can retire there you can enjoy it! We were lucky enough to convince the former owner and manager to manage our property for us and David is a super host with a 5 star rating. He'll meet you at the property and ensure you have the perfect Barbados holiday! We love our house and we believe you will too.

Beautiful cliffside views! David made arrangements to meet us at the airport the day we arrived. The property is less than 10 minutes from the airport. Check in was smooth. Just wished the bedroom had the fabulous view but all the bedrooms were located in the back of the house. We really enjoyed star gazing in the evenings.

We did not want to go, every day…

The property is so perfect and cozy that we had a hard time going out everyday. We really loved and enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful !

We never got tired of the view! Loved waking up to the ocean and coming back each night to unwind listening to the waves. The pool and outdoor shower were definite bonuses. David was a great host, meeting us at the airport and showing around the property, thanks for sharing your slice of paradise.

The location overlooking the ocean was great. The property was what I expected. Convenient location from the airport and other locations. I would definitely stay again.

Love this place!

This place is something special! The view is to die for and you have all day entertainment with the turtles coming up in the cove. Every day we went out, it felt like home to come back to. If I go back to Barbados, I would definitely stay there again.

Breathtaking Ocean View!

Very enjoyable stay, the cliff view was amazing. The host David was quick to respond whenever we needed to contact him.Bliss Cottage, is as the name ‘Blissful!It is off the beaten track for entertainment and restaurants so you will need a car/transportation. If you are after peace, quiet, and tranquility it is the perfect place!

We enjoyed our stay but villa is in need of some updating...rustic is fine...its the Caribbean, but simple changes like replacing mouldy shower curtain and kitchen utensils are needed, and new more comfortable sun loungers/cushions. Kitchen utensils were also not clean. This put us off of eating in as much as we planned. Host was great, view lovely. Can get very breezy on deck, but helps to keep you cool.

This trip was a dream come true! 10/10.Myself and my husband stayed for 16 nights last month(May), it was exactly what we needed. We aren’t into the party scene so staying in St Phillip is perfect for us.We hired a car from Mr T’s and that was flawless. Hiring a car meant we could come and go whenever and wherever. We met David at the villa and he was nothing but caring and welcoming and most helpful throughout our stay.Every single morning I couldn’t wait to open the roller blinds to see what the sky had to offer and listen to the waves crashing on the rocks below while sipping my morning coffee. It’s very cool and breezy(quite windy at times too).The pool was used every day and is perfect.I enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, it’s well equipped with everything you’ll need. We used the BBQ several times too.If you want to see panoramic views every day and prefer to be away from the hustle and bustle - You won’t be disappointed. Our only negatives are:The kitchen equipment could do with a little upgrade.We had a few baby centipedes in the bathrooms over the time there. We know not to touch them because they’ll sting you.

The house was the perfect size and location for four adults. We had amazing views from the deck; ate dinner out there almost every night. Dave; our host could not have been any better. He was there if we needed anything even escorted us to house from airport so we wouldn’t get lost. This house is perfect location; quiet area but close enough to everything you want to see. Turtles popping up in front of house every day. Loved it

It is a great location. The house is very functional. It could use some ceiling fans, however, the breeze is almost always blowing and it is comfortable as long as the big doors facing the ocean are open. The pool is wonderful to have, but is not nearly as large as the photo makes it look.IT IS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY AND WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!(For safety reasons, the property is not suitable for young children.)

What a view

This is a house with an amazing view of the ocean. I’m not a morning person but found myself waking up to enjoy the sunrise each morning. The house manager David was very helpful and informative about things to do on island. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise. This is a house I would definitely return to the next time I visit Barbados.

Best view!

We were impressed from the beginning. David answered all our questions promptly, met us at the airport and we followed him to the house. It’s located in a quiet area of the island. We rented a car and ventured out everyday but we loved coming back to the house. Very peaceful and relaxing listening to the waves crashing. Highly recommend!!!

Eine tolle Ocean Villa

Wir waren zum 2 und haben die Zweisamkeit und die Ruhe dort genossen.Die Villa mit der Terasse und privaten Pool ist einfach genial.Die Villa liegt bisschen abgelegen es ist wirklich ratsam dann ein Auto zu mieten.Die Kommunikation mit David war sehr hilfreich und er war ein guter Gastgeber.Ich würde gerne wieder kommen.

Hermosa vista al oceano con una piscina templada una gran cocina abierta ,con la brisa del oceano entrando a la casa que dispone de 3 dormitorios todos con aire acondicionado todo el equipamiento de la casa en buenas condiciones y en la cual uno puede disfrutar hasta los dias de lluvia en el hemoso deck abierto realmente una experiencia super recomendable sumado al manager quien nos busco y nos acompano al aeropuerto para llevar nuestra maletas hermosisima experiencia

Ocean and sea turtles

The property manager David is fabulous. He is kind and attentive - He picked our daughter up at the airport, brought her to a grocery store and dropped her off at the house - we arrived a day later. We were so thankful for that. He view is second to none - we so enjoyed watching the sea turtles from the deck. The pool was refreshing and well used by us, especially since it was extra warm during our vacation.
