Was not cleaned at the agreed check in time of 3:00. We stood outside of a basically trashed unit waiting for a cleaning crew that showed up at 3:15. They were very nice and tried their best to clean a massive mess with trash still in the unit and day(or two)old crabs in it. Needless to say the unit stunk and trash on the floors beds were left a mess. After the panic cleaning we finally got in at 4:25 only to find when we pulled back the bedspread to put on our sheets piles of sand ,used Q tips and other things in the master(and other)beds. It appeared the prior renters slept directly on the beds without sheets and the cleaning crew just put the condo blankets back on the beds in their haste. The fridge and dishwasher had things left behind and hastily poorly emptied/cleaned by the cleaning crew.(in their defense they were overwhelmed with things to be done). We didn’t discover the bed situation until later and called Cent21 who sent a condo cleaning crew. They(2)showed up empty handed and used the condo vacuum cleaner on the beds. We asked for replacement laundered mattress pads and they said they were just the cleaners. After they left I tried to call Cent21 but they were closed. We washed the pads,covers,all dishes and aired out the unit opening the front and back doors(took a full day to get the smell down/out of the condo. Long story short our first vacation day was waiting, cleaning, and disappointing. Took a couple of days to feel comfortable with our surroundings.
