The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

A well-rested vacation awaits at this charming, family-friendly condo just steps away from the beach! It's well-equipped with everything you and your guests could ever need to spend an unforgettable time together. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, central air-conditioning, a private balcony with terrific beach views, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and TV with cable.

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

We loved our stay in room 613! It was the perfect layout for my husband and I and our 3 year old. She was able to run around and play without having to worry about her running into anything. We slept on the pullout couch most nights which was definitely not the greatest (but what pullout mattress is?) the unit was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our stay. In fact, we liked it so much that we booked an extra night and extended our trip!

The condo was great! It was as described. The condo was clean, quiet, and had AMAZING views out the front door (looking to the bay) and the balcony (ocean view). We would definitely stay at this condo again!

View is exceptional

The condo was nice but the carpets need deep cleaned, but it was overall a nice place to stay at. The mattress was extra firm which we unfortunately didn’t sleep well. The pools, the outside area and tiki bar were very nice to hang out and relax at.

Things I liked about this condo, plenty of drawer space in the bedroom. However only 2 hangers in the closet. On another note, I believe the owners need to look into a new cleaning service as well as replacing the carpet. It is time.

Poor customer service! Will not stay here again or rent through Vacasa!

Will not stay at this place again, or book homes through Vacasa! Very bad experience. Huge disappointment, especially when we paid $1700 for the 4-day stay! Not as advertised! Negatives: Carpets soiled and filthy - Vacasa/Owner should get them shampooed periodically. Sofa/Couch fabric was dirty. Shower stall had mold and mildew. Cushions in bedroom were filthy and only 2 thin pillows were provided. Even after repeated text messages, phone calls, emails, we did not receive new fresh pillows. Very poor customer service by Vacasa!! Air conditioner was very noisy. If you plan on washing clothes in the washer, leave the apartment as it is very very noisy - sounded like an airplane taking off and you won't hear anything else! The dryer lint filter was blocked with so much lint that clothes were not drying properly, a potential fire hazard! So we cleaned it ourselves. Positives: Ocean facing balcony provides spectacular views, The home overall was clean, kitchen is well stocked with utensils, coffee machine, toaster, and refrigerator. Golden Sands has good facilities - tennis courts, proximity to the beach, indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

Ideal place for small family

Breathtaking view located in a nice facility. Other highlights were the keyless entry, washer/dryer and well equipped kitchen. A few upgrades to the furniture would be recommended along with a quieter air conditioner. Lacking a light for reading outside at night. Darker blinds or curtains in the bedroom and new pillows. Thankfully we had brought our own. But the view was worth it all.

Cute Beachfront Condo

The good: This is a cute beachfront condo on the 6th floor. The kitchen is nice, and the bed is firm and comfy. Golden Sands keeps the common areas tidy and nice. I liked having a washer and dryer and vacuum cleaner. The bad: The screen door on the balcony was stuck halfway open, and we could neither open nor close it. The blinds in the bedroom were also broken. There was sand on the balcony, and the glass was dirty on the balcony barrier. The bathroom could use some updates.
