Good hotel, clean and great location.
Clean hotel. Owner is professional and kind. He let us check in early. Gave us a room with a view. My daughter left her laptop,hotel called us right away. We enjoyed our stay.

Room wasn’t not what was expected had a bad experience and the front desk couldn’t accommodate or even change the room I jjst ended up leaving bad experience lost money on a room and ruined my experience of OC never again

Was a great little hotel for the price be prepared to screen mirror your phone to the tv the tv reception will drive you to drink but other than that is a pretty nice lil hotel

This hotel is a house that has been converted into a number of individual rooms. The room I had was tiny but clean. Check in was fast and the manager was polite. The location is great-just across a not busy street from the beach. It is very loud though-walls are thin and since many rooms are entered from the outside, there is a LOT of noise from people talking, doors banging, etc. For one night it's fine but you wouldn't stay for much longer than that.

600 ft from the beach and boardwalk. Easy checking in. Friendly staff. Cheap rate. Rooms are clean but need update. Fridge and Roku tv. Ac window unit. 🚿 is just a little strange small and water arrival is not at the center of the shower but to the far left! Not practical

Very small room, beds are hard as a rock, and not very clean. Came here for a night stay and was woken up multiple times throughout the night with people yelling inside and fight. Horrible stay.

Overall, great experience. Manager was extremely pleasant and room was clean. Bad: TV would not stay on, which was hard because I use it to sleep, and parking not included. Also, no shampoo, only soap.

Booked a last minute room for a price much cheaper than other places in the area so we weren’t expecting much from our 18 hour stay. With that however, we were greatly disappointed and, to be honest, frightened when a worker, WITHOUT knocking, unlocked the door to our room and attempted to enter. We were quick to push the door shut and deadbolt it, as he tried to apologize thru the door and explain that he thought we had entered the wrong room. Not sure how we would’ve entered/unlocked the door of the wrong room, but regardless of the excuses as an employee working in hospitality, there should be a strict protocol of handling any potential concerns while still making guests, particularly female guests, feel safe and that their privacy is being respected.

The service was good, very friendly and fantastic location. The Wi-Fi doesn’t work but the room was clean. You will need to pay for parking, it’s not free. Overall great experience. We stayed for 1 night.

Clean and inexpensive, you get what you pay for.
My fiancé and I stopped here as a way station on our way back from PA. As we both remarked it was “a room with a bed” The good. The price for the location was very reasonable, the staff were very friendly and left us check in an hour early which was nice. The room appeared to be clean. The cons. Everything was dated, the bathroom was clearly a very tiny converted closet and the toilet paper was literally behind the toilet. The walls were paper thin we could hear everything going on in the room beside us. The door between the room and hallway had a 2in gap letting in all of the hallway light all night. Personal preference, but the bed was very thin and hard as a rock so if you don’t like firm beds I would avoid. The biggest issue I had with the property were the stairs, I am disabled and walk with a cane and it was not clearly defined anywhere on the booking that this hotel is in no way ADA compliant. No matter how you enter you have to climb at least 15 narrow stairs which was a challenge. Overall if you are healthy and able bodied looking for a clean inexpensive place to lay your head while on a trip to the beach then this place is great. If you are looking for peace and quiet and comfort I would suggest looking elsewhere.

You get what you pay for! With that being said it was a pretty clean room. Hardwood floors and clean looking and smelling white sheets with no stains. The bathroom had multiple hairs in the shower though, and not out of your head… if you know what I mean. The owner was super nice, not a lot of parking on site. Worth the money if you’re looking for something cheap.

Never Again at This Hotel
This is a low budget facility with the feel of a B&B without the breakfast. Hotel pictures unfortunately do not reflect real physical condition. Facility could use major upgrades, especially the bathroom (plumbing upgrades, shower stall ceramic tile replacements and floor-pan installed, sink hardware replacements,etc.) Poor ventilation exemplified by the smell of cigarette smoke by guest(s) in nearby "no smoking" rooms.

Pretty good stay for being on the cheaper end. Staff was very nice. Only complaint is there's no elevator. We were on the 2nd floor & when you have a hard time doing stairs due to mobility issues it was a little rough. Great location 1 block off the boardwalk.

We will be back!
My daughter and I stayed there in July and we had such a wonderful experience we booked it again in August. It’s so surprisingly affordable for how close you are to the beach and the best best of the boardwalk (just a few houses away!). You can see it from the front porch :) I liked the daily cleaning; unlike other big chains that are recently not doing that. And you get a free coffee in the morning. :)

This family puts out the right things in the lobby: water, soda, coffee, hot cereal, other items. It's a little bit historical, and it's easy to check in and check out. Bring dollar bills if you want cold bottled water or soda on site! The ocean air is nice to breathe on their porch. Walk a few steps, and you're on the beach!

Keep your expectations low when staying here. While clean and relatively comfortable, the room is small and the shower even smaller. The shower in the room we stayed in obviously needs tiling repair on the floor and around the bottom of the shower, it’s very unappealing. The remote for the tv didn’t work. It’s not quiet, you can hear people dropping things, walking, doors slamming, etc. Parking is also limited, first come, first served. Although you can park on the street or pay for parking a half block down. The desk manager was very nice and helpful.
