  • Approximately a mile from the water, Shelby Chateau is a beautiful, three-bedroom, two-bathroom property near the white sands and stunning sunsets of Ocean Springs beaches, and only one block from the heart of the historic downtown Ocean Springs shopping/restaurant district. 

    Shelby Chateau is the perfect place for a romantic weekend getaway or week-long vacations with the family. 

    Loaded with amenities, you will find a clean, artistically decorated space with all the conveniences of home.

    Shelby Chateau features a modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances including an oven/stove, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, toaster, blender, Keurig coffee maker, and all the utensils you will need for preparing meals on days you want to stay in the comforts of home, rather than eating out at the numerous Ocean Springs hot-spots.

    The living room provides a comfortable place to lounge in front of the large flat-screen SmartTV, and there is a dedicated workspace for those needing to work during their stay. The neon sign on the wall with vintage phone and furniture makes a great backdrop for taking memorable pictures.  

    In the Primary Bedroom, there is a King-size bed and a Smart TV for streaming, and the two guest bedrooms (one Queen bed & one Double) have Smart TVs as well.

    There are two bathrooms, one with a combination shower/tub and the other has a large soaking tub.

    The entire property is equipped with high-speed wireless Internet, plugs & charging stations for devices, and there is a new washer and dryer for guest use.

    The enclosed front sun porch provides a space to relax, and there is covered space with seating out back in the fully enclosed fenced-in yard.

    ***Pets are allowed for a $150 non-refundable pet fee. Please select that you will be bringing a pet when making the reservation, or we will need to send an additional payment request after booking***

    ***There should be no more than six people on the property unless prior permission is given. No events or parties are allowed of any kind. We have exterior security cameras for the safety of both guests and property outside of the home. There are no inside cameras.***

    While at Shelby Chateau you will feel completely at home and never need to leave the property to have a fantastic stay, but if you can tear yourself away, you'll find yourself only one block away from the heart of the quaint historic town of Ocean Springs. The house was spotless, lots of room, location was perfect to go downtown. Kitchen was well stocked. Front porch was perfect for coffee. Beds were very comfortable.

The house was much larger than we actually needed. We received notifications from the host informing us when the house was ready and how to get into the house. There is a lovely enclosed sitting area which would be wonderful when the weather gets cooler. The yard is fully fenced in and is very large, my husky enjoyed running all the way around the house. There is a covered car port area to park your vehicle inside the fence. The walk to shops and restaurants takes about two minutes and about six minutes to the waterfront/beach. It is also a short walk to get to the Biloxi Bridge, if you enjoy walking it’s about 2.7 miles one way. The air conditioning worked great and the water for showers was always warm. The refrigerator has an ice maker, it worked well. We would love to stay in this home again.

We loved it! We were three friends meeting up in O.S., and we all give the Shelby Chateau five stars. All bedrooms were so comfortable; AC perfect; both bathrooms clean and well-appointed; great couch for movie-viewing; lovely sunroom in front for morning coffee. And communication was 6 stars!

Nice place located close to shopping and restaurants. Only thing could have been better, the ceiling fan on front porch didn't work and the patio lights. We like setting outside. The bedrooms has foam mattresses. It hurt me and my sisters back. Yard needed mowing and racking. Overall it was a good stay.

This house is in an ideal location and is walking distance to restaurants. Self check in was easy and the house is immaculate. 2 bathrooms but only 1 shower, which was not an issue for us. There is a train track nearby so you may get an early morning wake up with the train horn, so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. My adult children slept right through it! It was a great stay and we would return again.

What a charming home, and a location that just can't be beat! We could walk to all of the amazing shops and restaurants in downtown Ocean Springs, and Front Beach was so close! Communication with the property managers was excellent, and they made check-in and check-out super easy. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Get Away

We enjoyed our stay at Shelby Chateau it was a cozy home with everything we needed. The house was very spacious and plenty of fenced in yard for our pet and the location was near all the shopping and eating areas.

The house was great. It’s just as pictured. It was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location was wonderful. Just a few seconds and you can either be downtown or on the highway for a day of adventure. The fenced yard is really great for your pups. Overall, a really great place.

Wonderful Stay and Property

We had a wonderful stay! The property was exactly as described – clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect, close to all the local attractions downtown yet peaceful for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Holiday family getaway

The Shelby Chateau is the best place to be in Ocean Springs! It is a block or so from downtown where everything is happening and close to the beach. This place is extremely clean and cute. Also has a nice fenced in back yard for your fur baby.

Excellent weekend trip!

Our family took a weekend trip for Easter and this place was truly amazing! The house is beautiful and the yard is massive, which our dogs absolutely loved! The host was very communicative and accommodating and we had everything we possibly could have needed. It was a memorable weekend, and we would definitely recommend the Shelby Chateau to anyone looking for a getaway in Ocean Springs. I’m sure we’ll be back, too!
