The vacation home has a living area of approximately 90 m² and can accommodate up to 4 people. The adjoining guest house, which offers four additional sleeping spots, is booked as an add-on for the fifth person and beyond, making the entire property suitable for up to 8 people. You enter the vacation home via the north terrace. You’ll find yourself directly in the hallway, which features a coat rack and closets. Turn right to continue into the house. The first room on the left is the bathroom with a toilet and a shower/bathtub combination. Right next to it is the utility room with a washing machine and a large chest freezer. Across from it is the cozy and well-equipped kitchen. Here you’ll find, among other things, a 4-burner stove with an oven, a refrigerator, a toaster, a coffee maker, and a microwave. Unfortunately, there is no dishwasher here. The traditional wood-burning stove in the kitchen is purely decorative. You can access the living room with a fireplace from both the hallway and the kitchen. There are two sofas and a TV with Swedish channels. Internet access is included. Through the living room, you can access the large south-facing terrace, which is furnished with patio furniture and a grill. From the terrace, you’ll enjoy a wonderful view of the Swedish countryside—it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy your vacation to the fullest. The two bedrooms are located at the back of the vacation home. Each bedroom is furnished with a double bed (180 x 200 cm and 160 x 200 cm). Just a few meters from the vacation home is the guest house, which can be booked as an optional addition. The guest house is furnished with two bunk beds, a table, and a sofa—ideal for children.

Internet and firewood are provided free of charge.

Bedding and towels are not provided at the property and must be brought with you.

Note: Unfortunately, it is not possible to charge electric cars at the house.

The surrounding area: You’ll find a grocery store in the town of Bäckefors, about 12 kilometers away. A public swimming area is located on Lake “Iväg,” about 5 minutes south. About 10 minutes north is another swimming spot, also on Lake “Iväg.” The entire region is rich in lakes and rivers, such as the Dalsland Canal and Sweden’s largest lake, Lake Vänern. There are also hundreds of kilometers of forest trails that are perfect for hiking. A visit to the Norwegian capital, Oslo, makes for a great day trip.
