âAs non-gamblers, we can't comment on the gambling aspect, but the hotel and rooms themselves were clean and it offered more than your average hotel. We did have a blood stain on our sheets and they offered to move us to a different room, but we chose to get different sheets instead.
Free coffee in the morning, but no free breakfast.
Free parking, felt safe leaving the car in the parking lot, even in that community.
I would not recommend walking around the area, as Wheeling Island is run-down,...
âWell managed low budget hotel. Everything in the room was ok, I had a very minor issue that was fixed immediately. Toast, coffee, waffle, cereals for breakfast.
Recommended if you just need an affordable place to stay and have reasonable expectations. â
âI booked through Hotels.com and had to change the days of my stay. I did it with the virtual assistant but that didnât work out so great. When I arrived at the hotel, they didnât have my reservation. I showed them my itinerary but they never got it. Good thing Mark was there. âThis was a great stopover to and from points further Midwest. It was pet friendly and had ready food options available. I would happily stay again.â
âCheck in was quick, the lady only needs our car license plate numbers. Building is outdated but we got what we needed. Breakfast was good but coffee was bland. Two queen bed bedroom was clean and comfortable. Itâs worth it including breakfast which costed below a hundred a day. So I donât expect fancy as we only want to have a good sleep. We didnât hear loud noise. I saw the pool was nice but our family didnât have time to enjoy. Recommend it for everyone.â
