“The Thaxter is very well located, with plenty of restaurants and things to do within walking distance. The room itself was decent and comfortable, and the hotel restaurant and amenities were alright overall.
That said, for the price, I expected the amenities and overall condition of the room to be a bit more upscale. There were also a few spots throughout the room that could use some paint touch-ups and general attention.
