“We enjoyed the setting with a beautiful beach for bird watching, beach combing, collecting kai moana across the road from a cozy and well equipped batch with a wonderful garden. Great swimming beaches near by. It pays to stay close and explore the area, which has lots to offer. “fabulous location. I felt that there was a big gap between info online and then the further info provided by the host and the reality. The two upstairs bedrooms were fine. The two downstairs incredibly musty. We could not use the bedding from. downstairs. Thankfully we had brought some with us. No internal access between upstairs and downstairs made it difficult with the makeup if the group, I.e. children and adults. It was also very very rainy so that added to the problem if no internal access...

“Was just after first flood. Wondered if we would be able to land or fly out but no problem in the end. Place was close to Claris and easy to find and exactly as expected. Drove to Tryphena and Fitzroy. Drinks at Irish pub was great. My fat puku great coffee and food. Museum n gallery v worthwhile. Bach was great. No problem with water obviously or power for that matter. All in all a great weekend. Thanks Mike”
