“Perfect for a solo traveler sightseeing or roadtripping!”

“This is a great place to stay if you are looking to be away from city lights so you can try to see the Northern Lights. We were fortunate they were visible on our night here and it was a highlight of our trip. The staff is friendly, but they are not available at all times. Our shower was stopped up, but there is no staff late at night so we had to wait until morning for it to be fixed. They took care of it right away then, so it's just a matter of expectations. Overall, I would stay here...

“Otrolig utsikt, smidigt att ta sig dit. Rent och fräscht förutom kökslådorna som var lite äckliga. Fanns ingen bädd madrass så personen som sov på beddsoffan sov väldigt dålig. Behövs en beddmadrass på soffan, är väldigt hård annars. Köket var bra utrustat samt fräscht badrum. ”

“Beautiful location, gorgeous views along the coastline walking trail. Modern hotel with a nice reception and bar area but rooms not very comfortable for three adults. Hot water available in spurts every 20 minutes due to limited boiler capacity.”

“We had an awesome 2 days in this wonderful apartment. Best view ever! Very nice, big and bright studio with all the amenities. It was great for our family of 3 (traveling with a 14 years old). Thank you for the welcome gift and little attentions (ie basket in the bathroom). We will recommend for sure”

“The house was very clean and well appointed. The location was perfect for our midpoint stop traveling the peninsula. The remote location was also perfect for Northern lights viewing yet 5 minutes from the small town of Arnarstapi.”

“The room is pretty clean, (Spotless) it has nice kitchen Amenity. Three Coffee Pots (which is excellent). I only drink instant coffee and I need a bigger pot for making my instant Caramel Macchiato coffee. We only used the room for one night to rest (For Kirkjufell waterfalls and Aurora Borealis Photography) The room is sufficient enough for one night.”

“Brand new and claen self catering unit ideally placed to exlore the Snæfellsnes peninsula. Horse back riding opportunity is on site. Because of remote location it is important to stock up on provisions beforehand.”
