âA cosy old hotel in a typical old Savannah house with very friendy atmosphere and helpful staff. Nice rooms without AC but a good working fan in the ceiling. Afternoon wine and snacks in the "living-room" are served complimentary by the hotel. Very pleasant breakfast that you eat in the old kitchen with the chef making it for you while chatting.â
âThe room was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is walkable, felt safe, has lots of touristy shops and a variety of good restaurants.
There is a nice managerâs reception each afternoon with beverages, snacks and charcuterie.
Valet parking is convenient but pricey ($50/day).
Iâd recommend River Street Inn to friends and family if they visit Savannah. â
âWow. Another amazing stop in Savannah. Best possible service. Social hour snack, dessert in the evening and great breakfastes. Lovely house, big room with jacuzzi and a balcony/terrace out to the backyard with a lovely shared pool. Parking available or on the street just outside. Loved the area and close to go downtown or to other side of town for new restaurants, bars and stores. Loved it.â
