“Such a lovely building, clearly loved by all who work there. Information about the property, check-in procedure, etc. was communicated very clearly before my arrival.
Fresh lemon blueberry scones were there for a snack when I arrived near midnight. Wow.
When booking, I didn’t think about the lack of elevator at this property. My 68 year old knees did complain a little when climbing the external & interior stairs with my luggage.”

“The property is beautiful.
Our room was lovely—very clean and comfortable.
The seating in our room was perfect for reading, and the balcony an extra treat.
Allen was so gracious and helpful.
The location was great for dinner plans and a short easy drive to Churchill Downs.
Breakfast was delicious—especially the biscuits and gravy. And, the young lady that served us breakfast was very nice and helpful.
I’d recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone who is planning to spend time in...

“The house is absolutely stunning! Pat the owner goes out of her way to make sure your stay is as wonderful as possible. She has everything for you toiletries, beverages, snacks, etc. She takes special orders for breakfast, which is amazing when traveling with picky eaters. ”

“The room was very spacious and clean. The lobby area was also very clean ut what was very disturbing was the trash in the parking lot and even right in front of the entranceway. when I mentioned the trash the front desk clerk after checking me in immediately went outside and picked up the trash.”

“There was no one at the desk when we were trying to check in. There was a line waiting and I called the number shown at the service desk and it just rang back at the desk. I finally called again and the clerk came in from outside. He never apologized for not being there and acted like we were an inconvenience. He was also speaking so softly that he had to keep repeating himself.
I have stayed here in the past and never had a problem. I hope the guy was just having an off day.”

Shout out to Nick at the front desk who was professional, friendly and greeted us as we left for the evening and returned to the hotel. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. “We stayed two days at this hotel. Breakfast both days was well organized, at least as good or better as other similar hotels and the area for eating was much cleaner than other hotels. The bedding was comfortable and the room darkening curtains helped us sleep on the schedule we preferred. I used the coin operated washer and dryer to get some laundry done and that was extremely helpful and convenient. The service desk had quarters in exchange for dollars.
