“It was a good value for what i needed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Their continental breakfadt was pretty good and better than a lot of places. The only thing i didnt really like was that the room was hot in the afternoon time (on side of hotel with sun) but it cooled down a lot once the sun was hitting it directly. Other than that it was an OK place.”

“Jewel Lake was a house style Bed and Breakfast. You make your own breakfast, but the kitchen was stocked well. Our room was in the basement with steep stairs so I don’t recommend those rooms for older travelers. There are rooms on the main floor of the house. Clean and comfortable. We would recommend for a short stay. Most people use it for cruise layover time. We took an Uber into Anchorage and did a tour which was fun too. ”

“This reasonable priced motel is a great choice if you’re spending a few days pre-cruise. It is just down the road from Anchorage off by itself near great hiking and convenient to the glaciers. The exterior is a bit dated, but our room had been nicely updated with all the standard expectations along with some charming touches.
