âSimply Outstanding.
Don't go by the over- or under-photoshopped pics. The place is extremely comfortable, well-sized, with a plush bathroom, all imaginable amenities, the nicest kitchen we have seen, and amazing views. Please don't forget to gaze at the stars at night.
We stayed in the Learach room. Since this is the located the "lowest" of all cabins, it gets the least amount of afternoon / evening sun and limited views of the water from outside, but we didn't mind.

âOur room was lovely with a beautiful view over the loch and the Isle of Skye. In spite of being in the middle of a major refurbishment the staff were extremely corteous and helpful and made every effort to ensure our stay was a good one. The room was clean and comfortable with a really good shower and we had a lovely tray of tea, coffee and biscuits waiting for us on our arrival.. We will certainly make a return visit some time in the near future.â
âVery cute hotel in the highlands, located on the loch. Loved our room and the small veranda overlooking the lake. The food was very good and more of a fine dining experience which suits me. If you are more of a fish and chip kind of person Portree is very close and offer plenty of places to get excellent fish and chips. â

Comfortable beds, good shower. Nice soap and shampoo. Although itâs by the road it was silent during the night.
The homepage says that hopefully you would feel like home. Sadly we were told that we were not allowed having our own candy with us as we played cards in the lounge in the evening. Itâs an cosy, laid back lounge and that actually took some of the âhome feelingâ away.

âDet hĂ€r var precis va vi var ute efter. Ett klassiskt Pub-hotell med mysig atmosfĂ€r. Vi fick ett varmt mottagande och stĂ€mningen var familjĂ€r. Rummet var bra stĂ€dat och badrummet kĂ€ndes nyrenoverat. Blev serverad en klassisk engelsk frukost av glad personal. Perfekt hotell att stanna pĂ„ nĂ€r man passerar orten.â
âGreat location right in Portree. Good food in the restaurant and there are many other restaurants within walking distance.
Our room was right at the front of the hotel and there was some noise in the square but it did not bother us and I am a very light sleeper.
Staff were really friendly and helpful.

Gratisparkeringen Àr en bit bort men det fungerade bra för oss som hade hotellet som bas för vÄr tredagars vistelse pÄ Isle of Skye. Frukosten var god och frÀsch. Vi Ät ocksÄ en mÄltid pÄ restaursngen och maten höll hög kvalitet. OcksÄ puben var trevlig och gemytlig.

"The hotel had a very good location and we had a nice view of the bay from our window. The parking is limited but we did find a space. The shower in the bathroom was modern but otherwise the hotel had an old fashioned feel. The breakfast was disappointing. It seemed that the hot food had been lying for some time under lamps to keep it warm. There is a very good pizzeria a short walk from the hotel and a quaint square with shops and a cafe very close by. "
