The check-in process was a bit rocky as there was no propane for hot water. We had to stay in another rental for 1 night as the management company had difficulty finding a company to fill it right away. The first night was less then satisfactory, however the management company did make it up to us. The rest of our stay was exactly what we expected. The house was clean and well stocked. My only recommendation would be more bed pillows. We definitely would return to this house.

This is a beautiful cabin in a great location! We were two families of four vacationing together. This property was plenty spacious for all of us and had all of the amenities we needed. We loved the layout of the inside and the gorgeous views from the deck. We spent one day tubing on the Truckee River and another day at Emerald Bay. Both were easy drives to and from this cabin. I would highly recommend this property!

This is the 2nd time renting this beautiful home. The floor plan is perfect for privacy with a large common area and kitchen. The deck is large enough to enjoy comfortably. The location is perfect if you want to be close to everything but in a secluded quiet area surrounded by other beautiful homes and trees. Communication with the property management was great and responsive
much appreciated. Things to note - The master bedroom on the first floor needs a better backboard/frame, the sink was clogged & took time to drain. Things to improve to be a complete luxurious home: During the summer, spring months it is expected that people want to barbecue, the deck, furniture, grill, bbq tools should be clean and ready to be used and enjoyed. The kitchen should be fully stocked with sufficient good/usable pots and pans, cutting boards, cooking utensils, stemware, glassware, cutting knives, cleaning cloths/paper towels, broom & trash bags. During heat season - have more fans available for use. An iron & board would be great. Having a dishwasher is great but more dishes, etc available would help with running a full dishwasher. (water conservation is important) Note to future renters - be gentle with this beautiful home and surrounding area (Lake Tahoe).

The house worked out perfectly for our group. It was very spacious, and we loved the patio, and the location was great. It didn't have AC which made the house a little warm, especially in late July, but there were fans we could use. There was also no dishwasher detergent and very limited paper towels.

This house was perfect for our family of 5
2 teens and a five year old. The location was close enough to Tahoe City that running in for a bite to eat or to grab something from the store was no biggie. The Five Lakes Trail was very close to the property and one of our favorites of the week and shouldn’t be missed! The beds were very comfortable which is a huge deal after a full day of activities. The deck outside the living room was our favorite place in the mornings and evenings. The living room had plenty of seating and was quite cozy for family game nights. We would recommend this house over and over BUT only to those who are in pretty decent shape due the insane amount of stairs. I understand it’s built to be multi-level which made it so cool for the kids but if you find that you forgot something in the master suit as you are getting into the car then you have quite the trek ahead of you. We own and run a CrossFit gym in Texas and consider ourselves in pretty good shape and found ourselves worn out at the end of the day of hiking and then having to bring up groceries in multiple trips up and down the several levels of stairs. Also the kids’ rooms were very far from the master suit on the top level
which we loved but if we didn’t have older kids to help with our little guy it may have been more of an issue. Some things to note that could easily be improved: The clothes dryer didn’t work great and required several rounds to get a load completely dry. There is no clothing iron on property. This was a bigger deal than normal for us bc we flew our photographer in for some professional pictures. The left side of the refrigerator door is broken but just enough to be annoying but not an actual issue. The can opener didn’t work at all. The stemware and glassware was sparse. The remote in the living room was broke. And there were not enough wash cloths in the bathrooms. It would have been so great to have a portable cooler come with the house. We flew here and didn’t want to check our Yeti but wished we had it almost every day of our stay. Insulated water bottles would have been a nice addition too. There were so many good things about this property that the small issues didn’t really stand out too much but I know I always appreciate true reviews with all the nitty gritty so I wanted to leave the same. Five out of five stars! We loved this house, this whole vacation and plan to come back with friends soon!!!

My family and I had a wonderful stay! The home is gorgeous bright and airy! It has gorgeous views from the windows and deck! There is a lot of stairs, but totally worth it with the views you get. Definitely a great place to stay! :)

Loved this home. We rented for a girls trip and had a blast. All the beds were comfortable and the home was just beautiful! We had so much fun just lounging on the big couch and eating together in the kitchen. It does have a LOT of stairs and would not be good for someone with mobility issues but worked perfectly for our group.

Nice home. Plenty of space for a family vacation. There are multi levels though and lots of stairs so consider this when family consists of infants and elderly family members. The home sits way up on the hill with beautiful pines all around and a nice view of nearby mountains. Very peaceful and quiet. Nice deck to sit and enjoy the outdoors.

The family and I enjoyed our time spent at Lake Tahoe. The house is beautiful, plenty of space for everyone to spread out, plenty of bathrooms, the kitchen had everything you needed to cook and host dinner, fun board games provided, TV had tons of channels to choose from, and great outdoor space to chill and grill. The surrounding area was filled with trees and beautiful views, the house had tons of windows and nice natural lighting. The only con was no AC in the house, there was a heatwave during our stay so it got extremely hot & dry during our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our time together and are grateful for the memories we made.

This property was everything.. I loved how each couple was able to have their own space but still be able to come together and enjoy the living room and beautiful views from the deck. The gorgeous kitchen made cooking fun! I also loved how we weren't too far from Kings Beach and Tahoe City.

First let me say-loved the property, way better in person. loved it. Gorgeous. Truly one of the better rentals in my 26 year home rental history. As a frequent vacationer in other peoples homes: towel rack on first floor master is coming out and the toilet runs. (things no one tells you as a renter) When the sun comes up you are in it. No sleeping in. (maybe black masks to renters?) Mid level bathroom sink needs a flush out, and the handle falls off the shower. Easy fixes. My friends were very upset about the one kitchen garbage bag. I would suggest 2-3, but not a deal breaker. They also wanted Kleenex. Again, not a deal breaker for me. Recommend a regular pasta strainer. (that one was not so good for capellini or orzo). And the tongs broke in our food. Found one screw but not the other, hope I didn't eat it. The deck should have been blown off. It was a mess. Deck furniture is not optional in our opinion. Such great moon and stars there. We swept it and took the kitchen chairs out. (and bug spray). Amazing. And lastly the little asymmetrical landing on the children's level? I stepped off it thinking it was the stairs. Dislocated and fractured my shoulder, looking at surgery. I suggest a ficus, or a troll. anything. It was 8 am, sober, no excuses. And I was headed toward my second cup of coffee when I biffed. Thank goodness my friend is an ortho PA and put my shoulder back. It was quite awful. (still is, a bit) On the plus side the house is very sound proof. I screamed my lungs out before they heard me. True story. No worries, I am not calling my lawyer. Your place is beautiful -but I do recommend a troll. Ficus. Maybe a bear. That little asymmetrical landing is a hazard.

Stayed in August with a family of 4 adults and two young children. Pros: +Appealing, well-built home in a quiet neighborhood. It's not secluded, but the spacing to neighbors is good, and it's at the end of the street and top of the neighborhood. +Rental agency staff were very friendly and responsive. Cleaning staff had done a good job by rental property standards. +Two master bedrooms with excellent privacy/separation, plus two standard bedrooms near one of the masters. +Large attractive common area with direct access to the main deck and kitchen. +Modern kitchen with good appliances. +Comfortable beds and pillows. Cons: -No AC. That's probably the norm in Tahoe, but it got warm in the house during the day in August. (Lots of windows to let the air in, though.) -The available amenities are very basic. Bare minimum kitchen gear and no excess bedding supplies. A media room is completely unfurnished. -Simple charcoal grill only. Other: >The property has a fun floor plan, but it's has a lot of interior verticality thanks to the terrain. If stairs are a problem, beware of this one (and probably any property up in the valleys). There is elevator access for a portion of the house, but it was off-limits for renters while we were there. >Located off of a quieter end of the Lake. It's more of a drive to get to most sights/activities than it would be for other options around the lake. However, this also means it's a lot more private. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, just expected a few more amenities for the price point.
