“Waited half an hour outside the hotel at 1:30am after driving 10 hours to wait for someone to unlock the lobby door and check us in. Then had to wait for the staff to find us a pet-free room even though we had pre-booked a pet-free room. It was noisy and we maybe got 2 hours of sleep. The breakfast was pretty scarce as well, even though we went at 6am as soon as it started. ”

“Excellent value. After a day of hiking, it was great to come back to a hot shower and comfortable beds. Towels were fluffy and beds had nice soft quilts and blankets. Very spacious main room and bath. ”

“This is the third time I have stayed at this place with traveling back to MI from FL. First two times were very good experiences, comfy beds and nice rooms. This time it appears that the hotel is not being unkept, there were multiple deceased ladybugs in the window sill and the blinds were torn and did not cover the window which faced the bright parking lot lighting and lights at the 24 hour gas station and Waffle House (would recommend this WH). “Very unique and cool place. Private and especially clean and cozy.The bathroom and shower building was very very clean which is important.The cabin is very well thought out, the chairs on the deck double as rockers yet perfect as just chairs, the outdoor firepit is great and works well, and a propane grill so don't have to drag along charcoal along with the rest of what a person might need.This place is wonderful and highly recommend for one or two people.”
