We had a wonderful time at Caribe! Absolutely beautiful views of the bay from our huge balcony. Plenty of things to do right at the resort. I do wish so many doors and elevators weren’t closed down during our stay. Also one lady at the information area wasn’t the most polite when I asked about it worked when borrowing sports equipment. Overall we had a wonderful stay though and will definitely return if we decide to go back to Orange Beach.

Great room, difficult check in/check out

The condo was great, and we loved the furniture. The balcony was excellent. The property was a little run down and the elevators didn’t work so there were always long waits. Fortunately this unit was on the fifth floor so we could take the stairs. Great views and pools. The property management company implied a 4 pm check in time but that’s 30+ minutes away from the property and they offered the most minimum of supplies. Thin bars of soap for the bathroom and one roll of toilet paper. No salt and pepper and few dinnerware options. Overall the condo was lovely but we felt like the property management company was skimping as much as they could to save money. We even had to drive back in the wrong direction 30 minutes to return the key cards which definitely seem like they could be trashed and replaced. We will look for a different ‘owner’ next time as we like the vrbo experience.

Dirty Unit

Where to start??.... We love Orange Beach and Perdido Pass so the condition of the condo upon our arrival did not affect our vacation. I refused to let it. We picked up our packet at Southern Vacation Stays in Gulf Shores. Traveled to our condo 25 minutes away thru difficult traffic, unloaded all of our luggage and things then stood out in the hallway for 30 minutes because the door key cards were not activated. That required me to go to another building for staff to activate the cards. 1.Unused food products were left in multiple places from previous guest 2.Snack mix strewn throughout the unit 3.Dirty Q Tip laying in the floor of one guest bedroom. 4.Cookware that was extremely dirty with crusted up old food. 5.Guest bedroom had a broken bed post with the broken part just left laying in the floor. 6.Multiple electrical outlets do not work. 7.Greasy fingerprints on every single TV screen. 8.Floors were gritty and not swept at all 9.Carpet is stained and dirty in several areas. These are the major things that were displeasing about this condo. Premium priced condo but in poor condition. Very very dissatisfied.

This was the best rental ever. We plan on returning again. The only thing I didn't like is you have to drive to the office for the check in and out process.
