But above all, did you know that the sky in Mayenne can be magnificent? Philippe, the owner, is passionate about astronomy and has built his own private observatory! So, come and admire the celestial vault under the observatory's dome with him for an evening of stargazing or astrophotography (optional).

Activities - 800m towpath along the Mayenne River, fishing, Vélo Francette® cycle route (from Ouistreham to La Rochelle) - Hiking trails starting from Origné. All shops and services in Quelaines-Saint-Gault (8 km) and L'Huisserie (9 km). Don't miss the open-air restaurant at the lock during the season (750 meters) - in the village during the winter (70 meters). Weekly local produce market on Thursdays.

Large bay window opening onto the garden and terrace. WC with washbasin.

From Laval, follow the D1 towards L'huisserie. Cross the Huisserie and follow the D910, continuing on the D112 to the village of Origné. Turn left (rue d'Anjou) towards the lock, at the crossroads, turn right. The lodge is on your left.
