My family visit Florida almost yearly We have stayed at Champions Gate location several times. We enjoyed our stay but there were definitely some things that made us uncomfortable. When you’re on vacation there is just some things you should not have to worry about. I don’t believe the owner of the property is even aware of most of the things because he’s not always there. The kitchen was well equipped. The cleaning company is not reporting interior things that need regular or annual maintenance. The pool was an issue for us. Upon arrival I noticed the filter wasn’t working so it makes the water very still and look dirty. Two of the screens are missing so there was a lot of bugs and dragon flies in the pool. The pool needed more water also. I contacted the property manager and you can tell he wasn’t aware. He put it in for maintenance to come but they didn’t come until it was time for us to leave to go back home. Every time we open the curtains to the outside the curtains rods fell apart and one had tape on it. Very clear to the cleaner that it needs replaced. You can tell the cleaners are not cleaning and maintaining things like it should be. We thought the walls were dirty but it’s very noticeable paint patches all over the walls. Very nice house the beds were very comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay but could’ve been better. This house needs better cleaners, regular maintenance as well. The property manager responded as fast as he could and I appreciate everything.
