Excellent time!! We stayed here for 11 nights and we were very comfortable. We had 5 adults and 2 kids under 3, we had PLENTY of room for everyone to be comfortable and have their own space. The pool was amazing. We paid for it to be heated and it was good, I am thinking we might have been able to get away with not heating it since it was so hot out, but I’m glad we did just in case. We were going to have a grocery delivery, but my Walmart app didn’t like the address for some reason, Chris referred me to a lady who picked up my groceries AND put them away for us which was so great. Overall, it was perfect and Chris is a fantastic host!!

The property is great. The location was still private and away from other vacationers. The host Chris communicates and is transparent with anything that was needed. Most of everything was as described. Pros: - description was accurate and enjoyed. Loved the Marvel theme.- The pool was great especially pool toys- So much space and room for all activities- Reimbursement of resort fee was very appreciated- Kitchen was fantastic for home mealsCons:- Beds were a bit awkward. Mattress very stiff and some awkward frames stick out and cause bumps and bruises, especially at night- no safety gate around pool for children but wasn’t home a lot or was worried of child going out alone.- curtains were missing for main room that was shown in the photos for needed privacy, at night especially- new units were installed and not fully set up such as the AC was locked. But communication was awesome from Chris and Matt that helped fix the issue.All in all, 5* all the way and would hope to plan another future stay soon!

Family Vacation

The house is amazing, it was cleaned and well stocked with linen and toiletries. The theming was awesome and the kids loved the scavenger hunt throughout the house. I would absolutely stay again.

Our stay was very enjoyable! We all loved the house and especially the pool. The pool toys and added floats were a great plus that added to the pool fun. The kitchen was stocked well with what we needed to cook and enjoy the amenities of home. Plenty of towels. We all slept well and felt the beds were clean and comfortable. Chris checked in on us to make sure all was well. There were a few things that weren’t perfect but upon bringing them to his attention he was very responsive and ready to act. He was very quick to reimburse fees for the resort amenities. Overall we had a good experience and he is a great host.

Excellent Stay

We had a great time at the Marvel house. It was a lot of fun, even for 2 adults, to look around the house at all of the little details. The space was great. The bed was comfy. The pool was beautiful. The movie/play space was a lot of fun.Chris was a dream to communicate with! The only thing I would change is putting some blinds or curtains in the living space. The sliding door leading to the pool is wide open with no coverage & you felt a little like you were on display. While there are no immediate neighbors behind, they are close enough to see. A little privacy, especially at night or in the morning would be nice. Otherwise, a great house! Lots of fun. Would stay again.

Amazing

Everything was amazing at this property, my family and I enjoyed the pool and spa and the kids loved the rooms. This house is amazing for a family getaway or if you plan to visit Disney or universal studios, it’s not far from anything really, I think our longest drive was maybe 25 minutes. I definitely would recommend to other friends and family.

Family Vacation

My family enjoyed a wonderful vacation at Shield House. In the craze of Orlando fun, it was so nice to find some peace by the pool. My son even said he wanted to go back to “our house” both while we were at Disney and Discovery Cove. They loved having their own rooms and bathrooms and the pool and hot tub were LOVED by all.

Marvel home in Florida

Home was in good location. It was reasonably clean. Mattresses were decent. They were foam mattresses in the bigger rooms and spring mattresses in the two rooms with single beds. Bedding was okay. Lots of towels were provided. Washed them frequently. You should plan to bring your own or buy laundry detergent. Was surprised to learn we would only get one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. Was hoping a 'good to know' book with things like good restaurant recommendations, etc. would have been there. The pool was the reason we booked as loved that it was salt water. It was murky when we got there. Let the owner know and the next day someone was there to clean it and it was much better after that. Back yard/pool area was good with lots of seating and an option for shade. Garage games room was okay. Was nice to have the option to watch something once kids were in bed and have the noise isolated to the garage. The resort was nice. You have to register to enter and pay a fee. But the owner reimbursed us for this so just an FYI. All and all, would recommend this property for a stay.

Lovely and comfortable for a Disney trip

The theme of the property very appropriate for a Disney vacation. My daughters especially enjoyed the Spider-Man room. The pool was beautiful and much needed after walking the parks all day.

Great family vacation stay

Our stay at this vacation home in Florida was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated the house was. The location was ideal—just a short drive to the beach, restaurants, and attractions, yet tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood for a relaxing getaway.The home had everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen to comfortable beds and plenty of towels. The outdoor space was a dream—whether we were lounging by the pool, enjoying a morning coffee on the patio, or watching the sunset, it was pure paradise.The hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for a stress-free stay. We can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be coming back on our next Florida vacation!
