The listing ad states the master bedroom has a plush king size bed. There is NO king size bed in this condo. It is a mattress on boards. Every mattress was extremely uncomfortable to the point of being painful. We both have disabilities so a soft king size bed was a major consideration when booking. Linen, blankets, and pillows need to be replaced. Light over the shower/toilet was out, even though it was reported in a previous review as being replaced. Outlets are so old and loose, plugs would fall out We had to tape plugs in to be able to use fans and charge phones. Several outlets did not work the oven literally takes half a hour to preheat to 350. If you’re cooking breakfast, wake up early! Fake plants were covered in dust. They did offer to send a housekeeper after we notified them of the state of the condo. We had just driven 10 hours so we declined the housekeeper. I notified VRBO of the false advertisement (bed size). They have not been helpful

Great location, very central to universal studios. Local stores very close as well. The apartment itself is great; Very spacious with everything you need aside from coffee or tea.. which I feel is a standard to provide at most places. This place does not provide it. The bathrooms needed updating. The sink faucets appeared to be held together with some type of glue? The shower faucets were quite loose. The amenities were nice (pool, pool bar). The hosts, however, were not very accommodating. Be aware - They only provide 1 hand towel and 1 shower towel per guest. They do not provide pool towels nor allow you to bring the regular towels to the pool. You are expected to wash the linens before you leave. And understandably throw a dishwashing load in. They do not allow you to adjust the thermostat below 72 degrees otherwise they threaten to charge you if something in the thermostat breaks. Felt like there were a lot of threats and didn’t feel very welcomed, which was a shame. Overall, the place was good - just not great.

The floor plan and design of the condo was very nice. We had two adults and two teens. Plenty of space. We were very disappointed in the cleanliness in some areas (baseboards, walls, etc..). We were not able to use the kitchen because of small ants. We could not place anything on kitchen countertops. The ants were on the walls, sink, stove top, in drawers and small appliances. We kept all non perishables on dining table. I was on the phone or texting with management daily. I was told someone would be in to spray, and then they would not show up. This happened for several days. Finally on day four someone came to spray for bugs. It was a bit of an overkill, no pun intended. However, when we walked into the condo we were immediately hit with an overwhelming smell of menthol. It was so strong and was very uncomfortable. No ventilation, and it did not kill the ants. I was told we would not receive any type of refund. It was a huge inconvenience. We could not prepare any food in the condo. Also, there are still large stains on the ceiling in the bathroom that have not been taken care of. The pillows need replaced. Some were smelly and others were very flat. We were disappointed with the limited towels and NO wash cloths. To us this seemed really silly considering we had to wash the towels before we left. We also thought it odd leaving garbage in bins in the hallway. Surprised there want a trash shoot or some other less smelly way to collect garbage.

Great location but needs TLC

I’ve stayed in these condos before but never had experienced a dirty rental before. All the white surfaces (doors, frames, baseboards, sinks) were visibly dirty and the kitchen was full of small ants. Pillow cases in two large bedrooms were yellow and several had hair on them. Team did eventually agree to send someone in when I requested a partial refund but that only addressed the pillowcases and the dirty bedroom doors. Master bathroom had yellowing and brown stains on the ceiling from an old water leak. Overall bedroom furniture creeked (bed frames) and the mattresses were hard. Very disappointing having stayed at Vista Cay previously with much success.

Nice Place, Great Location, Ants Unbearable

Our two week stay was heavily infuenced by the presence of small ants. We could not use the kitchen for food storage, or to prep and cook meals. Some in bathroom area. Daily clean up was required, some days hourly! During week two they started to invade the dining room area also. Very disappointing start to our vacation.

Wonderful Condo, Great Location!

This condo was in a great location, it is a straight shot to Universal Studios with little traffic. It is right beside a Publix and Chick Fil A. The community is gated and we felt safe. The condo was very clean upon arrival and even smelled clean. It is well stocked and on the top floor so it is quite for the most part. It has a full size washer and dryer which is very nice to have with a family of 4. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely rent this condo again!

~ The unit's layout & space was perfect for 3 adult family couples. Kitchen was adequately equipped. ~ 2 of the 3 single beds were terribly uncomfortable. May have been better to sleep on the box springs. This was mentioned months ago in another review, but apparently not resolved. ~ Only the bare minimum number of pillows - we went out & bought extras for our stay, and no extra blankets provided. ~ Very easy drive up Universal Blvd to the Park.

Thanks for a great stay! The condo was clean, decorated nicely, and spacious. The location is perfect for convention center events. I recommend staying here. The check-in process made me a little apprehensive as it asked for pictures of my ID, my credit card, and a selfie. Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay.

Close to Universal

The check in process was a breeze. The condo was easy to find and there was always plenty of parking. It was also very clean. We visited Universal several days during our stay and not only was the distance reasonable (about 15 min) but it was also very easy to navigate there with barely any traffic no matter what time of the day we went. The condo itself was spacious and very quiet. We didn’t hear any of the other neighbors at all during our stay. My kids enjoyed the proximity to the pool (which is also SUPER nice and the grounds are kept very neatly landscaped.) The only complaint we have is that the mattress in the master bedroom and the twin size mattresses in another bedroom are so uncomfortable. They both had nice, soft bedding but the mattresses themselves are some of the worst we’ve slept on in a VRBO rental. You could feel the springs in your back on the twin size mattresses. If this condo had better, upgraded mattresses, I would have given a five star review. Darker curtains in the master bedroom would also do wonders as the sun blazes in through the white curtains that are currently hanging which results in an earlier than wanted wake up time and a warmer bedroom. Definitely not good if you’re expecting to be able to sleep in a cool, dark room. Also—some of these pictures are either outdated or were taken from a similar unit. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the decor or balcony but many of the pictures in the listing do not have the same decor as what the actual until has. The balcony is not the same as pictured either as the unit we rented had black railing, not white as pictured. It made no difference to us but more accurate pictures should be posted. We were a little confused when we walked in the door the first time because the decor didn’t look like what we thought we were booking. Again—it was still very nice, just unexpected.

Property was very close to Rosen at Shingle Creek where we attending a conference.

The property was within walking distance of a shopping center and very close to a conference center. The check in process and the company managing it however has much to learn about customer service and I have no understanding as to why I have to send them emails of credit cards and pictures of myself along with a drivers license.

Convenient location.

The location was convenient and the condo was spacious. They only supply one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, and one dishwasher tab, and one extra trash bag, so if you’re staying for more than a few days you’ll need to visit the Publix grocery store that is conveniently just around the corner for supplies.

The apartment was great. Clean and nice. Perfect location. Only issue was slow responses from owner. Often waited hours for a response. And remember to bring extra toilet paper — they don’t provide.
