Great Pool Villa Near Disney

Property details:
Beautiful 5 bedrooms villa sleeps up to 10 people comfortably, has two floors, and is located just minutes to restaurants, shops, & Disney. This is perfect for large families or multiple families wanting to stay together.
The first room we’ll go over is the living room. It’s large and contemporary. There is a large L-shaped modern sectional that’ll seat at least 7 people. Just behind the living room is the dining room, which, again, is modern and has seating for up to eight people. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a stand-up breakfast bar. There are 5 bedrooms to choose from. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has also a king-size bed. The third bedrooms has queen-size beds. Bedrooms four & five all have two single beds. There is a large pool with spa, sun loungers and a table and chairs for you to sit around. Make sure you arrange to have the spa heated, in advance (for an additional fee).

Community details:
Calabay Parc is one of the most sought after, stylish and celebrated rental vacation communities in Central Florida. Situated in a conservation area surrounded by orange groves and woodland, all lawns and landscaping are maintained on a regular basis to keep up its immaculate appearance. At the southwest corner of the community you will find a children’s play area equipped with 4 swings, 2 slides, and a gazebo for parents to sit in the shade while the kids play. There is also a grass area with volleyball net for extra enjoyment. Calabay Parc is situated on Highway 27, between US Highway 192 and I-4 and is within minutes of many golf courses, including the spectacular Champions Gate Golf Complex. Two miles on Highway 27 is a Publix Supermarket along with other convenience stores. A new Super Wal-Mart is just 3 miles further, just over the junction of Highway 192. Six miles south on Highway 27 is another Super Wal-Mart, restaurants, banks and shopping. Interstate 4 is just 4 miles south on Highway 27, taking you straight to all the theme parks, downtown Orlando, Gulf Coast or the Atlantic Coast. Disney World is an easy 10-15-minute drive and Universal, Sea World and all the other attractions are just a few minutes further. Calabay Parc is an immaculately maintained and peaceful community to consider for your next vacation home rental.

Very nice

Everything was great beside the pool not working when we show up. Pump was broken and had to be replaced so no jacuzzi when we were there other then that over all was a good place to stay

Pros and Cons

The rental was very clean. I had no issue with the garbage like the previous review said. There are a few cons with the house though. The upstairs air conditioning isn’t strong enough for the upstairs downstairs was cold upstairs has three bedrooms and they were Luke cold. I did notify the property owner because one day it was 87° upstairs. She contacted me right away and sent a technician over. He added Freon to the unit but he did tell me the AC unit that they have upstairs is way too small for an area that large so I will never get it cold cold. They advertise that they have a game room. But you can’t use the game room. It has a terrible stale mildew nasty smell to it. You couldn’t breathe in there and there’s no circulation. And one time one of the kids left the door open and it smelled like death was coming into the house. But not using a game room wasn’t a big deal for us because they entertain themselves. Also the washing machine needs to be rinsed out with maybe some bleach or some thing because it has a mildew smell to it. I loved The pool area but I can use it and improvement. The patio furniture needs to be updated as far as the cushions someone in a torn and they look outdated. Also there’s no lighting at the pool except for the patio and the kids wanted to go swimming at night but you couldn’t see. Last night that we were there my son said oh there is a light here in the pool but it was dead I guess you need a new bulb for it. Friendly suggestion that they get an air pump because they have large inflatable‘s to use at the pool. But a lot of them were deflated. And I wasn’t letting any of my family members put their mouth to it to inflate it especially with Covid. Besides those few things I did enjoy staying at the rental and I would say again if they would just improve those few things. 😊 oh I’m sorry there’s one more thing but that can happen at home if you have A lot of people staying at the house you have to scatter the showers. After the third person takes a shower the water is pretty much cold. We had a party of 11 most of us had to take a cold shower or a lukewarm

Good but needs a few things

We enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space for our party of 6. House was clean and had plenty of supplies and towels. Master bed was extremely comfortable and showers were great. The carpet is in dire need of deep deep cleaning or replacement. It was filthy. Doors could use a nice shot of WD-40 so they aren’t so squeaky. Pictures should be updated. We thought there were no houses behind us and the pool area but there are. We enjoyed the house and the proximity to I4 to use coming home from the Disney parks.

Very misleading.. will not book again.

We recently stayed in this home and we were sadly very disappointed with this property. The pictures on the website are very misleading and do not accurately show the real condition of this home. When we arrived there was a infestation of flies around the pool. We later found out that the trash bins that were located on the side of the pool was filled with old trash that was left from the pervious guests. Maggots and flies were around and inside the bins. The pro was that the property manager was very responsive to the situation and was able to solve the problem. However, it was very disappointing upon arriving after a 6 hour flight to find the infestation of flies. The Pro: it’s a big house and the AC runs cold- that’s it! The Cons: -The house looks and feels like it’s been lived in by a lot of people. -The carpets in every room were stained and dirty. -The blinds in the master were missing panels which made it very inconvenient to change. - The grout lines in the bathroom and in the kitchen had mold stains. - The tiles on the pool were chipped - walls were dirty
