The property is really close to Universal Studios and everything on International Drive. It was very easy to find a parking spot and the room we had was very spacious and laid out great. The only negatives I would say is that the cost for parking and breakfast were a little high, especially when most hotels in the area have free parking and breakfast. Also, the A/C in our room never dropped the room lower than 72 degrees, and one of our shower tubs held water and wouldn't drain. Overall it was great for what we paid for it and I would stay there again.

They didn’t really clean when we were staying there, I would come back to the hotel and all that was clean was the beds. The bathroom didn’t have toilet paper restocked and they only brought us 1 lotion and no shampoos and conditioner I had to ask for them to bring it.

Our room was very outdated and uncomfortable. It was very loud when we were trying to sleep and you could hear people running the halls, beating on walls, and emergency vehicles blaring. There were little hairs all over the bathroom - on the walls, tub, toilet, shower. Two lights weren't working and the master bed room was so uncomfortably hot. I expected more for what we paid.

The check in process was a nightmare. When we finally got a room, the entire 7th floor hallway was covered with trash. The staff never cleaned up the trash and all of it was still there when we left the next day

Overall the property wasn’t bad. It is somewhat dated but we didn’t expect it to be a 5 star stay when booking it, we wanted something decent & convenient as we were going to universal. The walk there & back is not bad (easier & about the same time it would take to take the shuttle since the shuttle picks up a few hotels). Our room was clean for the most part. The tub was worn, so it was hard to tell if it was clean but I always wear shower sandals at any hotel regardless. The bathroom/bedroom doors did not have locks. They didn’t do daily house keeping unless asked for, & when we did they didn’t come until we called again after coming back from universal, but they were very apologetic & come quickly to fix our need. People would leave trash outside their door but it was picked up every morning between 10-11am from what I saw. They provided dove soap/lotion products. We had a safe in our room, did not see a hair dryer. But we had a 2 bedroom suite & there was a fridge, coffee & microwave in our room. They had a TGIF where kids eat for free with an adult. It also has a breakfast bar in the morning. We ate there once for dinner and once for breakfast and that was enough, I mean it’s TGIF, can’t expect much. We opted in for free parking when we booked our room, I HIGHLY recommend bc it’s ~$25 a night for parking if you don’t pay the additional fee online (which was cheaper). Lastly, hit or miss if they answer front desk, however, staff was friendly when talking with them.

Perfect property for walking to and from Universal every day. Comfortable beds, nice bathroom with Dove products and great shower. Room definitely could have been cleaned better when we arrived but was cleaned well during our stay. Friendly staff. Right next door to a restaurant if needed.

The window area dusty...looked like mold. The aink counter was very spotty on arrival. Not enought wash colthes for a family of 4. The next day when housekeeping took the dirty wash clothes they did not replace them...so we had none.

Front desk clerk was very nice. It was only one working on my side, so the wait was pretty long. My room size made up for the elevator being out. There were 3 adults and 3 kids in my party, the suite was very clean and spacious

Really easy check in, friendly staff and very accommodating. Attached to Fridays which is very convenient. Pool water was ice cold and no water pressure in the shower.

There were a few issues, like no safety latch on door, toilet stopped up and one room was missing a remote, but the hotel staff did fix the latch and replace the remote immediately. However, the toilet was not addressed. But thankfully we were in a two bedroom suit and on our last night’s stay when it happened, so the hotel returned all the fees charged for the inconvenience.

This property has a great location and shuttle service. Their rooms are comfortable but have no microwave. We did not like that it had no breakfast option only an expensive attached TGIF.

This hotel staff/management was so unprofessional and non-empathetic! They canceled our reservation without notifying us (2 suites) bc we arrived 12 hours late due to AA delaying our flights.…. That’s 8 nights …. And we had called them prior to tell them about situation….And the 3 people on duty that evening all told us our rooms had been given away to others and would not refund us over $1,300. They were so rude, as they would talk to us, they were just staring and typing in the computer. Not even making eye contact. The two women were so unprofessional, no explanation…. And wouldn’t even try to help find us any other rooms with affiliated hotels or help us connect to IHG customer service so that they could try to assist a party of 10 find somewhere to stay for 8 nights. The three people at the front desk supposedly called the manager who was not at the hotel, and stated that he would not be refunding our money. We had to end up getting an awful hotel (out of our pocket) for the rest of the trip…. When we called IHG it was a completely different experience…. The one we should have received since the beginning being IHG members.

Hotel staff & management were extremely unprofessional and unwilling to help out in unfortunate situation. Due to weather, our flights got delayed and we were not able to make it on the day of our reservation. We called hotel to inform them, they said it’d be ok. Upon arrival our reservation of 8 nights(2 suites) had been canceled and we were told there were no rooms available for us. Needless to say, they were unwilling to refund our money, management refused to speak to us, and did not offer to help us find different accommodations. We did not receive an email or text informing us of such cancellation. For several days we tried to speak to the manager to no avail. We were there to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and had our week planned out. Due to the cancellation we were left scrambling to find other accommodations which not only took hours but also took the joy away from our experience. Eventually we had to settle for a less than ideal hotel which was not very clean and did not provide shuttle or breakfast as we had seeked with our original reservation. Our party of ten included two elderly and four children. It has now been one week since we went through this nightmare situation and we have yet to receive our refund. This situation has left us with a very bad taste in our mouths when it comes to ever using Holiday Inn across from Universal. Guests deserve to be treated better!
