We were never provided with anything to enter the resort other than the door code. Each time entering the guard gate was a gamble because there was not a listing of occupants. There were so many issues and no one could get in touch with the host. We notified maintenance but we were unable to resolve any of the issues

Checking in was a hassle. The office doesn't have thr new guests name or names. The rental is still showing under the last guests. The parking is confusing (office told us we need a parking pass while the host says we should park across the street). House is clean but two of the tubs drains longer than expected (It'slike a pool before you finish bathing. The main living room television won't turn on. The couch in the loft is peeling really bad (sheds). The host place a work order for maintenance to stop by for fixing pointed issues per message on VRBO but no one showed.

Overall, the property was nice and had great potential, but it could use some additional maintenance and attention to detail. Some of the mattresses had noticeable dips, and several of the shower heads appeared to need replacement.The owner was responsive and timely when we had general questions and requests, which was appreciated. However, there were a few concerns that impacted our overall experience. I was not aware at the time of booking that there was an additional 90 tax fee to use the grill on the property. Since the grill was one of the amenities that influenced our decision to book this rental, this additional cost should have been clearly communicated upfront.The pool was another major factor in choosing this property. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the pool had debris floating in it, visible debris and staining on the bottom, and it appeared that the water was not circulating properly. I contacted the owner and provided pictures, but I never received a follow-up response with an estimated timeframe for when maintenance would address the issue.With some updates to the property’s furnishings, maintenance, and clearer communication regarding additional fees and amenities, this rental could be a much better experience for future guests.
