Overall the stay was great. We had a few hiccups that I cannot overlook though. I originally booked the house for 5/29-6/1. On 5/28 I got checkin instructions and saw that my reservation has been changed to 5/28 check in. I contacted Hostyn. They replied immediately but said there was nothing they could do. I’d have to contact VRBO directly. I did. VRBO said there was nothing they could do. So 2.5hrs later, the night before I’m supposed to leave for this trip I’m going back and forth with parties that don’t want to take responsibility for the error. I just didn’t want to get charged for a night that I wasn’t there. Upon getting to the house we noticed plenty of large towels for bathing but no washcloths. I didn’t mention it to Hostyn until they messaged me and stated that “if I needed anything large or small” to let them know. So I mentioned it. They said there was nothing they could do. That was annoying. Don’t ask if you don’t plan on doing anything.

This was a family celebration for our 83 year old grandmother’s birthday celebration and it was honestly the best decision we’ve made as a family. The house was clean and comfortably fit my entire family. I also recommend the host as an amazing choice, she helped me at every need and was prompt with every question I had. Make sure you book with this host if you are looking to o create amazing family memories like we did.
