We arrived at 4pm, check in time on a Saturday, the driveway was full of vehicles, trash bags covered the lawn. Upon approaching the home the cleaning crew was still there “cleaning” and we learned there was no electricity to the master suite, master bath, room in the hall. Once we FINALLY got into the home we learn that cabinet doors in the kitchen were off the hinges, the pool fencing had holes and not well maintained, the theatre room arcade game was not working properly and was horribly hot (no central a.c.), and we also had no cable. To make a LONG story short after several DAYS of our VACATION and persistent phone calls to the management company we ended up getting cable on Tuesday late afternoon, and we got electricity to the master suite on Wednesday evening, we were checking out Friday morning. The management company did reimburse, what I would consider, a VERY small portion of the whole cost as “compensation,” but regardless we will not be recommending or will we be staying at any properties in the future managed by this company. It’s a true shame as the house was spacious but NOT well cared for and renters had LOW priority when it came to correcting the issues in a timely fashion.
