Overall, the condo was nice. However, the cleanliness of the bedding and the customer service was less than to be desired. We arrived late on Sunday (3/13/2022) and when it was time to pull down the sheets we found several (10+) hairs on them (Downstairs bedroom). Also, the comforter on the same bed, although not torn or dirty in appearance, felt like it had hard deteriorating plastic-like areas inside of it in various locations. We attempted to retrieve comforters off of the twin beds upstairs but they appeared to have dried secretions or mucus (boggers) like substances on them. I did call the customer service number at that time and left a message as it was late. We stayed up late that night washing sheets before being able to go to bed.
I called back in the morning after not getting a call back from customer service. I spoke with a representative and explained to her the issues. She asked if I had taken pictures and I advised that we had already washed the sheets. I explained to her about the comforters as well and asked if we could just have them replaced. She advised that I needed to take pictures and send them and it would be evaluated. I explained that the queen/king comforter from the downstairs bedroom would not show anything since the breakdown appeared to be inside the filler. Her answer to this was, well, we do not consider that to be an issue since it is not torn or dirty in appearance. She was not helpful or understanding but rather short in her delivery. I did not request a discount, money back, or anything absurd. At this point, because of the lack of customer service and her attitude, I ended the call without anything being resolved. No one reached out after that point.
We have stayed near this location and rented on three previous occasions and never had any issues. I still find it hard to comprehend that after spending the amount of money to rent for the week that one little request could not be handled with care, concern, and service.
We always do our best to leave a place the same or better than we found it. Although not required according to checkout paper, the trash was taken out, the dishes were cleaned and all the linens were placed in a central location.
