“I booked this last minute with only a couple days notice and I am glad I did. What a great little cabin. It is very rustic and very homely. I was told service was not great but I had ZERO service and I loved it. No messing with technology just enjoying our days sitting by the forest. Me and my lady sat by the fire pit every night and we grilled meats as well. Hope has the cabin very clean and stocked with everything you may need. We will definitely be booking again in the future!!”

“The view is amazing, but the rest not so much. I would have preferred an additional seat other than the futon, it was very uncomfortable. Although empathized "no smoking", someone had smoked in the trailer and there was even an ashtray on a table in the living room. I saw roaches and a sock in the living room. I checked out after one night.”

“My boyfriend and I were looking for a weekend getaway with our two German Shepherds. We found this beautiful log home!! It was beautifully decorated and it has an amazing dog friendly yard! Our puppies were free to play in the yard and explore while being completely secure. We would highly recommend and would love to stay again! The owner was very easy to contact and communicate with. 10/10 for sure! Very convenient to a lot of trails/forest for hiking if the heat cooperates!”

“Very peaceful, wonderful screen porch watching boats go by and listening to the waves lapping. Nice boardwalk through the grounds with interesting flora. I have to agree with others that the bed was not the most comfortable, however, we brought padding that we use for camping and it was much better. The bed was the only con, and the pros far outweigh that, especially since you can make it more comfortable. Really enjoyed the seclusion and quiet. We will come back!”

“The place was overbooked and they didn’t respond on several attempts to reach them. My money was taken from my account, so now I have the hassle of trying to get it back. Do to the lack of communication from property owner, I would pass on his property.”

“The bed was not made the mattress cover was more then disgusting a blanket as thin as the sheets I had to put on the nasty bed bath tub was dirty toilet dirty full can of trash in the bathroom kitchen counters had stuff smeared all over them floors didn't look like they had been cleaned or swept in a very long time 1/2 roll of tp very disappointed the lake was great very pretty but would not rent one of those places again I took some pic but the bed was nasty!!!!!”

“From before booking to check-in, the host was super quick to respond & very helpful. We got there & the place was clean and cozy. The neighbors were so awesome & incredibly helpful as well. The only thing we wished we had known in advance is the closest restaurant is about 20+ minutes away, and parking is pretty tight with vehicles & trailers. Overall a great stay & we will be back 😊”

“This was our first time visiting the Ocala National Forest area, and this was the perfect little place to call home during our visit. I didn’t realize until after we booked that this was located in a camping resort, and though there were many campers and RVs in the resort, it was extremely quiet and relaxing. The location was conveniently close to several trails and recreation areas around Ocala National Forest, which was the focus of our visit, so we didn’t really use any of the amenities...
