Fåglar, fåglar, fåglar! Nyligen identifierade en erfaren fågelvetter 97 olika fåglar i vårt område på en vecka! Miljoner dollar visa, berg, regnskog, trädgård villa! $ 79 per natt eller $ 475 per vecka eller $ 1600 per månad.

Låt Paradise Peak vara din semester inom en semester där varje dag är 74º F och varje kväll är 60º F (plus eller minus 7º F). Det är varje dag på året, den mest perfekta temperaturområdet på jorden!

Vår fastighet är särskilt lämpad för trädgårdsmästare, naturälskare, fågelskådare, konstnärer, författare och människor som uppskattar en stressfri, lugn miljö. Hyra Villa har den mest bekväma king-size madrass i Costa Rica! Det andra sovrummet loft har två enkelsängar och privata övervåningen uteplats.

Villan ligger i en fungerande citrus gård och är omgiven av en privat elva tunnland botaniska trädgård. Denna villa med två sovrum i balinesisk stil har ett pentry, fullt utekök och utomhusjacuzzi. Alla konstverk och prydnadsföremål köptes under resor i Indonesien, Thailand, Kina, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, och Centralamerika. Villan har en spektakulär utsikt över Alto Cedral Cloud Forest, som börjar på berget mittemot Villa och fortsätter in i Panama. Allt du visa är regnskog och det verkar oändliga. Vyn till vänster ser ut över staden Orosi till Tapanti regnskog. Vyn till höger ser över Continental Divide vid den berömda Mountain of Death.

Om ägarna: Vi Steve och Nancy Riley, nybyggda hyres Villa, som vilar 25 kilometer från vårt hem. Vi tillhandahåller även fastighetsservice för de som vill gå i pension i ett levande Eden, hembyggnadstjänster och landskapsplaneringstjänster.

Varför besöka Orosi? Den Orosi Valley är ett landskap av aktuella nyanser. Regnskogen av Tapanti och Alto Cedral Cloud Forest måla en bakgrund i olika nyanser av grönt, vimlar av vilda djur. Varje sväng av vägen ger en ny mångfald av färger och terräng. Ligger söder om Cartago, är Orosi Valley en verklig pärla. Berömd för sin vackra utsikt, koloniala kyrkor, kaffeboken turer, vita vatten floder, varma källor och Lake Cachí, Orosi Valley och omgivande städer är som en födelsedagspresent, väntar på att öppnas. De små pittoreska byar erbjuder en unik plats där du kan koppla av och njuta av en verklig del av Costa Ricas liv. Under kaffe plocka säsongen, genom januari kommer september dalen till liv. Plockarna kan höras sjunga och prata i fälten när de väljer ett av världens bästa kaffe.

Heaven on earth

Stephen and Nancy are amazing host with an amazing place and some amazing stories of their world travels . We stayed a mth and were welcomed the entire time. We loved waking up to bird songs and breakfast with the most friendly dogs you have ever met. We loved the area so much we ended up buying property from them!

Very friendly welcome from the owner who came to pick us up in Orosi, as we couldn't find the address. The garden is beautiful, waking up with birdsongs is wonderful, and the terrace which offers a beautiful view of the garden, is very pleasant. However it's impossible ton be on th terrace from 5 PM, as there are lots of mosquitos. Finally, the interior of the house could do with a facelift, or at the very least a thorough cleaning.

Lush green and tranquil

We have stayed at Steve’s and Nancy’s for two weeks and experienced their hospitality, friendliness and such a warmth. Loved the place : super comfortable, very private yet close enough to know the host is there when you need them. Steve and his helper rescued us from a very daring car trouble for which we were so grateful. We enjoyed the tranquility and spectacular views, jacuzzi on the huge terrace was awesome. We will go back next year.

I would need more space and time to make this review complete. If you want just what the pictures show, and understand what Costa Ricans mean when they say to you "pura vida", I'm not sure what a better place, people (and perros😁) one could ever find. Pura vida!

360 degree views, beautiful botanical gardens with walking paths, Private Villa with lots of privacy yet owners are close by and available to assist with anything. They are the best hosts ever and showed me around my first day, took me to the farmers market and baked me delicious goodies during my stay. Jacuzzi tub on porch during a storm is a must!

It really IS beautiful

A little work to get there - might need 4-wheel drive, but so worth it. After being in 2 different locations around Costa Rica, when we settled in here my wife commented that she could finally "vacation". This place is SO zen! The birds and gardens are everything that is advertised and MORE. The house and deck are beautiful with perfect views. So many birds will call you to come join them in the morning. The hot water is the only thing that might need to be upgraded. Washing dishes at the kitchen sink needed hotter water - it never did get warm enough. Barely hot enough water in the shower, although it was enough. A slight bit of cold was added to make a good shower, so that was adequate. Just a little more house cleaning would have made this perfection! There were a number of dead bugs on the floors, and cobwebs/spiderwebs in places that should have been removed. But we ABSOLUTELY would come back. I walked the garden trails every morning, looking and listening to the wonderful symphony of bird songs.

Love it

It was a little difficult to find, however we made it. Loved, Loved, did I mentioned that we Loved it there. So gracious host we so loved them, so very nice and caring people. We cried to leave this beautiful area. The gardener did not speak English but was so very friendly. We Loved the dog's they had, Rottweilers so so friendly, we got some treats to give them and they showed up every morning like they knew us forever. They came to visit us in the morning while we sat on the patio.

Great getaway!

We loved the Paradis Peak villa! Steve and Nancy were wonderful hosts and gave several suggestions on activities available in their area. Loved our visits with the Rottie girls as well, they were a real treat. I would recommend contacting host for better directions than google maps. Roads can be a bit challenging. And did i mention the bird watching! Awesome!!!

Hard to get to, easy to love.

Steve and Nancy are the sweetest host. Steve made us a delicious "Texas pastry". They have the best dogs. The whole house and grounds are heaven on earth. Only minus was having to depart so soon! We are already planning to stay longer next time!!

A Special Place

This property is truly one of a kind. There exist multitudes of lavish descriptions, what is most impressive is the genuine kindness of the host, Steve Riley and his wife Nancy . Paradise Found

A beautiful villa set in an incredibly stunning location. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor patio and kitchen area very much and the king size bed was super comfy. I can't emphasize enough how beautiful this setting is. The hosts are very welcoming and were available to answer any questions and/or provide assistance during our stay. A close drive to a grocery store however you feel so far away from any city life here. The bird sights and sounds were pure magic. We would definitely stay here again!

Our Christmas stay was wonderful. After lots of driving and staying in different places landing at Stephen and Nancys place was heavenly. I’m he dogs became our pals immediately and made our stay even more sweet. Orosi was wonderful. We went to the local church for Christmas mass and visited the Irazu volcano at 9 am which was the best time to go to avoid crowds. All and all our stay was great. Stephen surprised us with an apple strudel for our sons birthday which was incredibly delicious and so thoughtful.

Nature lover's paradise

Fittingly named, Paradise Peak is nestled in the mountainous forest with gorgeous views. Our trip was in December and the weather was perfect: highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s. (Open windows the whole time!). The villa was nicely appointed with art from all over the world, a very comfortable king size bed (and two single beds upstairs) and a fully equipped kitchen. We enjoyed bird watching every morning (we identified 49 different species!) and hiking the villa grounds marvelling at the wide variety of orchids and heliconias. The hosts live on the grounds and were amazing! Our first day Steve drove us around showing us the local sights and helping us get the lay of the land. Nancy was a wealth of knowledge regarding the gardens that she designed (she also designed the villa!) All in all it was a fantastic trip.

Paradise Peak is indeed paradise

Terrific property and hosts. If you want to relax away from it all in a beautiful villa on a beautiful piece of property with a killer view of the mountains and valleys this is the place. My wife and I are typically on the go all day but we found ourselves looking forward to spending the mornings and evenings on the villa's balcony taking in the views of the valley, it's wildlife, and utter peacefulness. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed and more, including a trip around the key roads of the valley we'd need to drive on which proved extremely valuable. Can't wait to go back.

Amazing getaway

The property is beautiful and an absolute escape from daily stresses of the city. Steve and Nancy were so welcoming, answered all our questions and made sure the lights were on when we arrived "home" late..along with a fresh loaf of bread. We truly felt like the property was a little slice of heaven and wished we had more days to enjoy it. Only item of note, if you do not have a 4WD vehicle, the back entrance is not passable in the rain. Too steep for 2WD so plan accordingly.

Magic, stay here you will not regret it!

Steven and Nancy are the most gracious and hospitable people I have come across in our travels. Nothing was a problem. Their place is astoundingly beautiful. You leave here relaxed and refreshed. Our granddaughter fell in love with Lily and cried when we left. Oscar is also so helpful, he was incredibly patient helping me with our 4wd rental. We will be back, absolutely fell in love with their place and the area. Thank you so much Steven and Nancy you helped set the stage for our stay in Costa Rica and truly your hospitality will not be forgotten. P.s. the strudel was fantastic!

Our stay could not have been better. The property is stunning - we honestly could have never left and been content just sitting on the balcony. The view is amazing. Steve and Nancy, the hosts, are the kindest people who were helpful in every way. It is very obvious how much they love their property and Orosi Valley. One of the best trips we have ever made. We will be back. Would give more stars if we could!
