“Booked a private room with shared bathroom at the hostel. I arrived very late but had received the self check in instructions via email. All was good and I was able to get to my room without incident. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The communal washing area and toilets were close which was helpful. “If I could give this place 10 stars I would! It had a private hot tub as advertised which was wonderful. We saw the Northern lights every night we were here. No tours needed, just look out your window. It was appointed with a kitchen which we used on several occasions to get a break from the food prices lol. Overall a 10 star from me.”

La cuisine est très très bien équipé, vous trouverez forcément ce dont vous avez besoin. Il y a du café, du thé et du lait à disposition. Disponible aussi, une terrasse avec des tables pour déjeuner à l’air libre et une hôtel pool à 39°C pour se détendre. ”

“Bra läge om man har bil, annars är det för långt att gå till Akureyri. Fint rum med bra utsikt. Incheckningen var lite skum då det bara låg ett kuvert med vårat namn på disken när vi kom dit. Fanns inget varmvatten när vi skulle duscha, gjorde inte så mycket för våran del, vi stannade bara en natt. Fanns ett nummer att ringa om man ville nått, vilket vi gjorde när vi glömde nyckeln på rummet, och då kom det en och låste upp direkt. Kändes som vi var ensamma på hotellet.”

“This was a real treat and was like a mini vacation within our vacation. The location (quiet solitude, views, surrounded by the horses), all the comforts of home (to sit on a real couch again even lol) and being able to make our own meals and enjoy a private evening in the hot tub were just what I needed.”
