Hotell i Orval sur Sienne

“Ett helt fantastiskt fint pensionat med mycket trevlig värdinna. 45 minuters promenad in till centrum. Men de flesta restauranger var stängda när vi kom 20:00. Enda nackdelen är att det är gemensam toalett utan handfat. Typisk fransk frukost med nybakat bröd, sylt, Yogurt och kaffe. Fin trädgård att sitta i. ”

“This B&B is quite unique. The castle is carefully restorated both externally and internally. The owners collect objects from the 18 and 19 centrury which decorate the castle in a very time tipycally way. The park outside is partly like a wild djungle and includes foreign trees. “The owners were lovely and very welcoming with off road parking provided within the grounds. The whole building was full or character and very stylishly decorated to a high level with a selection of D-day memorabilia and information in the dining room. There was a good breakfast included of Croissant/Pain au Chocolate/Pain au Raisin and bread, preserves and cheese together with hot drinks and juice. A particularly nice touch was a selection of chocolates in the bedroom. Would certainly recommend...

“This was the worst hotel I ever had in my entire lifetime. When arriving at the hotel we thought it was the wrong place, looked like a rebuilt workshop. They have totally 3 rooms with one toilet and one shower separate outside rooms. All 3 rooms have a very low standard, simple and uncomfortable. My reservation includes continental breakfast but the only thing that was available was coffee, juice, bred and Jams. I can’t understand why this hotel is available and allowed on Hotel.com homepage. “Very badly maintained area around the building. Barns and other buildings in various state of decay. Untidy is a word describing the situation outside the main building. First room offered, the cheapest, was damp, a strong smell of mould and in need of a touch up. Because of the foul smell, we were offered a much better room. Newly renovated to a good standard. But still with a faint slight smell of mould even here.Breakfast …. no complaints. But the smell of mould!! That room should not be for...
