“I was very happy with my stay at the Trail Inn in Amana. The location is perfect. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING is walkable. My room was incredibly clean. The bed was quite comfortable. The air conditioner was top-notch! It actually went down to 60 degrees!!!! Because the heat index was over 100, I definitely used it. Would absolutely stay here again!”

“This place has so much potential. It's a beautiful old building that is kept clean, but could use some refreshing touches. Lots of nice woodwork and furniture. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom small, but clean and cute. Quiet atmosphere even for a main street hotel. No sign of a bar or restaurant. Breakfast? We quickly decided because of the low cost of the room we could skip the very meager offering and eat elsewhere 😍.”

“We had a great stay at Cobblestone Inn & Suites in Monticello, Iowa. The hotel was very clean, quiet, and had ample parking. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable, and the beds and pillows made for a great night's sleep. The complimentary continental breakfast was a nice way to start the morning before getting back on the road. One thing to note for future guests is that the hotel has only two floors...

“The only reason for not giving this place 5 stars, was the elevator. It is like something out of a horror show 😆 The room was clean, a tad dated but comfy! I enjoyed my stay overall! Definitely going back!”

“This hotel allows pets, so the neighbors dog woke up early and didn't stop barking since 6am. In my room, there were some dead bugs on the floor, and it smelled moist/wet. The room was still good amd comfortable. I slept well when thedog was gonethe next day. The food was good, with eggs and sausage served. The staff is not the approachable type, but they still provided good amicable service when I asked for extra laundry bags.”
