“We stayed in Valley City for four days, and our hotel stay was wonderful. Our room was clean and spacious, and as I stayed with my two kids and we went swimming every night...we constantly were bugging staff for more towels and everyone was so kind and accommodating! Special shout out to Cleo in the breakfast room; she was extremely kind and helpful, we looked forward to chatting with her every morning and she kept that place so clean and all the food was tasty and nothing ever ran out.”
“Husband and I stayed a week- working vacation to help family in Carrington. All Staff were very pleasant and helpful. A slow draining tub issue was addressed promptly. Room and bath were clean and well maintained. Light breakfast items available to grab and go. Next time we come to visit family- will stay here- reasonable, safe, clean and centrally located in town.”
“After I got past the unswept entrance area, the rickety handrail, the non staffed reception and the dark hallway, every thing in the room was absolutely perfect.
When there's construction how hard is it to at least sweep the entry area. There was no attempt over each of the days of my stay.
The breakfast was nice if I got there before 6:30. Otherwise rates mediocre at best. Probably a slight plus had the entry area felt tended too.
Good luck, -dh”
